I doubt we’d get Jon Cryer and Calista Flockhart. SG’s budget issues don’t seem as bad as LoT, but I’m not sure if they could pull that off.

From what the President told Kara, I assumed Cat Grant pulled strings to get that meeting set up. Did I misinterpret that?
Ongoing, yes. Blatant? I don’t really think so. A lot of people saw Zari/Charlie on a similar path as Avalance (enemies to lovers) because even in some of their early fights Charlie is flirting with Zari. That line in the mid-season finale seem to make subtext, text. Then out of nowhere Zari likes Nate.
Can it really be queerbaiting if we don’t know Zari’s straight? Feels more like shipbaiting. I’m splitting hairs but the latter is less offensive.
Based on Kara initial conversation with the president, I assumed Cat Grant got Kara that meeting. I assume Cat Grant is still press secretary. She wouldn’t be forced to leave when Marsden was kicked out. I could see Cat resigning because of the current President’s policies though.
I assume that means the LoT writers love your cosplay, y’all. (I have seen many Constantines but sadly few of the other Legends at cons.)
Fun fact: if you have to keep having characters say that two people are in love, it’s because you probably know you can’t otherwise sell it. Can you imagine if we only knew Jim was in love with Pam because other people in the office kept walking up and telling him that was the case?
The EP pretty much admitted that they just put Nate and Zari together on a whim. It wasn’t until the scene in the Bollywood episode when Zari helps Nate with his tie that they decided that the actors had good chemistry and decided to go all in. Though now that I think about it, that scene doesn’t make much sense.…
Considering that a decent portion of the audience ships Charlie/Zari having them flirt when the plan is to set up Zari with Nate is queerbaiting. In hindsight you can say it was a simple observation between straight women but right after the episode aired a lot of people were wondering if Charlie and Zari would get…
Looks like this is an unpopular opinion but I really hate this Nate/Zari thing. It’s like the writers can’t Nate be single for too long so they stuck him with the next available pretty girl. What do they like about each other? They didn’t even speak during the first half of this season. Have they had any significant…
I still don’t understand why their ship name isn’t SharpeLance.
I need to see these three in an episode together.
Is it weird that I was hoping Zari would become the Quake to Sara’s May? Meaning she’d develop basic fighting skills to supplement her powers and occasionally offer assistance to the team’s true badass fighter.
Sara’s abilities don’t require CGI. Are fight scenes that expensive?
Why hasn’t Supergirl mentioned the possibility that the person who attacked the White House was from another Earth? I know Alex is mind wiped and Lena doesn’t know about the multi-verse, but Kara could just pull out the white board and do a quick Barry Allen style explanation. I’m glad they acknowledged Bizzaro, but…
It’s not just the powers. Sara has barely had any fight scenes either. It was so awesome watching her kick ass on Arrow last week because it’s been so long since she has had a fight scene on her own show.
No, Quentin has never been mentioned. There was a whole after episode 2 this season where Zari is struggling with her mom’s death and Sara never mentions Quentin.
No problem, the names are really close. But it’s an insightful post.
So was hooking up with Constantine Sara’s way of figuring out if she liked Ava?
In case anyone is wondering if this episode could have gotten any weirder:
