One race of aliens attempting to take over the Earth doesn’t excuse anti-alien sentiment. They’re not all alike. There are different races of aliens from all over the galaxy. It’s like saying anti-Muslim sentiment is ok because a few Muslims have committed terrorist attacks.
They’ve got an evil unicorn in the premier. God only knows what they’ll do with it.
I mentioned this above, but the accents sound watered down to me. Not sure if it’s because the actors can’t do a proper accent or if because real patois would require subtitles.
My family’s Jamaican and IMO he sounds like a Jamaican who has lived in the States for a while. His accent reminds me of my relatives who have been here since the 70s. If he had an accent like someone “FOB” (for lack of a better term), most of the people watching this show wouldn’t be able to understand him.
I was watching a YouTube review of the episode & it was mentioned that in season 4 of Smallville black Kryptonite split Lex Luthor into his good and evil parts. I’d love to see what a goody two shoes/viciously evil Lena would look like but I don’t think they’d copy a Smallville storyline that closely.
I’m really curious about how things will be set up for next season. On the one hand, James should be out at CatCo but they’re casting for a transgender female to play a reporter with a “young Cat Grant” personality, so it doesn’t look like they’re giving up on the reporter side of Kara’s life. I just wish they’d …
Since Supergirl has more episodes than it knows what to do with, I’d like to see one of those episodes where the men and women are separated into different adventures. Kara, Alex, Lena and I guess Ms. Tessmacher could get pulled into a crazy plot while Winn, J’onn, James and Mon-El are off handling something else.
I don’t know why but Caroline’s description of next week’s episode cracked me up.
That’s convenient. He can get back together with Kara and if they break up while he still looks young, head back to the future and get back together with Imra.
I’m so confused about Imra/Mon-El. She basically told him to figure his feelings. How long is she planning on waiting for him? If he never goes back to the future she’ll just assume that he wanted a divorce? I don’t know why they couldn’t have broken it off right then.
Kreisberg was a producer on The Flash too, so I don’t understand why only Supergirl is going this storyline trouble.
Maybe they’re a fan of Batman?
For whatever reason the Supergirl writers don’t ever seem to want to acknowledge the multi-verse outside of crossover episodes. There’s never been a mention of Barry, Oliver, Sara, etc., outside of the episodes they’ve appeared in.
They can’t borrow a stock image from The Flash?
I didn’t really think about it but earlier this season J’onn had a conversation with Alex about being black and now Jimmy is telling his story to Lena. I’m just glad the show realizes they’re black. *side eyes The Flash*
I think that last speech worked because that hotel story was something that happened to Mechad. http://ew.com/tv/2018/05/21/supergirl-mehcad-brooks-guardian-identity/
Cryo-Fitz isn’t married to Simmons. They proposed to each other when they met up in the future.
At a comic-con (last week I think) David Ramsey said he’d like it if his Earth-2 counterpart used th last name Stewart. However Greg Berlanti was partly responsible for the Green Lantern movie, so I feel like DC doesn’t want him near the character again.
I completely forgot about the double wedding. After all that fandom drama I think I blocked it from my mind.
