I think since Saturn Girl and (now) Mon-El are from the future, they don’t want to interfere with current events. Since Saturn Girl is such a big Supergirl Fan she probably knows the history of her battle with Reign, has probably read Kara’s life story and she knows Kara will be ok.

I don’t mind Lena/James but I think Lena/Winn would have been a better pairing and maybe have James date Sam for maximum angst.

Candice Patton has said that the writers have basically said they don’t want to write about Iris’ reporting career. So she’ll probably just be working in S.T.A.R. Labs & everyone will forget that she’s a reporter.
