Agreed.

I’m not sure your concerns are valid at all. People don’t review games on Steam if they don’t have it in their library. Simple as that.. There are two ways to get a game in the Steam library: as a gift or as a purchase. “Angry Fanboys” can’t review games unless you have it in your library.

What surprises me about Ruse is that it is an exclusively WW II game. I wouldn’t have even thought there would be licensing rights to 70 year old equipment depicted in the game. I would have thought Stugs, Panther tanks, and Spitfires would have been public domain by now!

Buy World in Conflict instead - its better.

Licensing and rights deals are ruining just about everything from games to music to movies.

I miss it a bit as well, though what stopped me from playing was accepting that end game progression has devolved into running Brayflox HM over and over again. I have had my fill of tanking the same dungeon repeatedly with a new group of abrasive douchebags.

Not really, no. It's a mediocre MMO and an even worse Elder Scrolls game.

Would you have said the same thing to the white Mississippi freedom riders? They were good white people, too, and they paid the ultimate price for their decision to stand up for justice. Or the straight folk who mourned the death of Matthew Shepard? Or the men who fight for equal pay for women? Or the able-bodied

"Good white people" demonstrate the qualities that all good people demonstrate: kindness, empathy, compassion, thoughtfulness, unconditional love. These are the values I try to instill in my students; that parents try to instill in their children.

If we are talking shitposts, you've enough to make a decent fence. But, really, if you want to get into it, we can. I've got not nothing but time at the moment, and between Sarkeesian and her attempt at lurid prose to prove her point (always good for an academic) and your nearly magical thinking, I could entertain

Well, I could point out the flaws to your argument, specifically your tissue thin issue with Hitman, but let's be honest: nothing anyone will say will change your mind. You've got your conclusions, beliefs, really, and nothing that is said as a counter example will shake that outlook, because you are already under

Yes, but I don't think we've really reached that problem territory yet.

Sure, but the lack of agency is less overwhelmingly present. Like...if a soldier or a cob or a mob guy gets killed, that's different from an unarmed prostitute. Yeah, unarmed non-combatant men get killed too, but they're rarely sexually objectified to the degree that the female victims in question are.

Although in many, many games, the second you kill a civilian, you fail the mission and have to start over. Anita and you call this trivial but really what other punishment besides score and mission failure do you expect them to enact?!

Mostly the first paragraph of your first post. I saw it got more civil down the line.

Psychos sending messages on the internet aren't likely to say such things in public. The mistake here, and what lets them 'win' is saying things like 'what is wrong with the rest of you?' They aren't the rest of anything. They are apart. They are the exception and the freak.

Automatic assumption that black people don't have jobs. Check

But please dot not argue via group emails shared between coworkers at your workplace.

I agree Tim, Looked v-much like Tony S. veered into him probably to scare or intimidate , certainly not kill but unfortunately that's what happened . Manslaughter at least !
