I will back him up that Sleeping Dogs is actually very well done. I really, really appreciate its extra attention to hand to hand fighting, punching people in GTA has always been such a horribly generic animation with generic results, (jabbing the air in exactly the same manner in exactly the wrong direction anyone?)

Yeah and I think that's a waste, I recall checking the minimap much more often than I cared to change camera angle once I found my favorite. Especially if right stick free look still works. Put camera angle in settings and give the map a dedicated button imo.

Good points, and I agree. I feel like MOBAs should be 100% skill dependent. Having such a large inequality starting at the character selection screen is just a deal breaker for me. I mean no offense at all to those that like LoL, to each their own..always. I do happen to really prefer DOTA 2's F2p model though.

I quickly uninstalled LoL when I made my personal conclusion that it wasn't on par with HoN and later DOTA 2. I've been a long time DOTA fan so the lack of denys and pay 2 win aspect of getting stronger heroes was a deal breaker. I did not know that they didn't have voice chat though, and that kind of baffles me.

"I don't remember ever getting so mad at a game that I would feel the need to shout, swear at, insult and berate strangers over it."

Funny thing is, it looks like a dog was about to do the same thing to them not 30 seconds later right at the end... politely wait for the way to be clear before crossing. Pigeon wins for using the crosswalk though.

As far as Samsung needing Google, that is exactly what Samsung is trying to end, a dependency on Android:

DOTA does it right though, paying money will not affect the actual game play whatsoever. I could care less who has the best outfits so that works for me.

Had TF2 for so long that it wasn't free, son. Hell I played TF when it was just a quake mod and you had to map all of the keybinds to get it to work. Also, something about get off my lawn and walked uphill to school both ways in the snow.

Man I must have missed the memo that EA bought out PopCap. Looks like it happened in 2011. Ugh, why must you suck the blood out of everything good, EA?! Is it too late for a 'sorry for your loss' postcard?

Right, and to be fair I don't think NASCAR drivers or ballroom dancers are athletes either. I remember I once told my cheerleader girlfriend at the time (back in HS) how ridiculous a shirt was that said "cheerleading IS a sport." She hit me. (It's still not)

The King says hi.

Exactly my thoughts on F2P, I've been playing Neverwinter and am pretty well disgusted at how many things they try to get you to pay real money for...mounts, companions, "crafting assets", more bags past the first 2 small freebies (imagine running around in WoW with 2 silk cloth bags unless you paid up), extra

This^ Why would I care about non-specific news about a game I know nothing about? I'm not saying it's not news, just that I really don't care enough to have been thankful I read this. I do care enough to say so though, it is Blizz after all.

I avoid free 2 play because it's anything but.

A special shout out to Omerta:City of Gangsters. In this latest steam sale I learned that 75% off of "you gotta be f***ing kidding me, you got a 54 on metacritic and i'm doing you a favor just playing it" is still too much money.

I see the whole 'jailbreaking voids your warranty' thing on so many websites and I'm afraid it's misinformation. A jailbreak is purely at the software level and so you should always be able to restore it to factory settings using iTunes. It only voids your warranty if the jailbreak causes a hardware issue (and more

I didn't invent the custom, and for it to "make sense" you'd probably have to research when and how the custom started. Frankly, whether it makes sense is secondary to the fact that it is indeed customary. As far as do away with it like they do in Europe, slow down...we're not even on the metric system yet.

There are 4 possibilities I see that cause this:

Grandma's boy was hilarious, just take it for what it is. This author should be drug out and shot for calling it abysmal. It was a movie for teenage-30 something stoners and gamers, and you write articles for teenage-30 something stoners and gamers.
