So.... you’re angry because this article didn’t do, the thing you didn’t want it to do?
for every comment about the “wrong crowd” of joker fans i’ve seen, there have been about 10 comments like yours saying that the libs are trying to sink this movie by not being objective or whatever.
There’s an argument to be made that Summer being a “list of tastes” (great way to put that, btw) is more one of Tom’s flaws than Summer’s, that he doesn’t see her as a person, just as one circle in a Venn diagram to see where they overlap
Is this the first time any Schur show has taken a dump? I think it is.
I left the cinema like 40 minutes ago ad honestly it doesn’t focus less on the human characters. It really really doesn’t. And the worst thing is that you can do a good Godzilla movie that focuses on people. Shin-Godzilla did it. But this mess? Nope, it keeps intercutting the kaiju rumble with human shit that’s as…

Fuck off.
Christ, that trailer almost made me cry; i am unbelievably excited for this.

I’m not sure about that. Keep in mind that Garth was a character on SNL before the movie and Spheeris was involved. It’s not impossible that Myers and Carvey created Garth specifically thinking of Spheeris, but it would have been a pretty long while before she was involved with the movie.
The rumors are that he and Jennifer Lawrence had a very mutual arrangement.
That young actress is like a ray of sunshine on screen. I like the idea of her in this role. There may just be an audience for this composed of pre-teens and their parents a bit exhausted by too much gritty realism.
