it’s somehow super clever in the way it criticizes all these things without coming off as preachy i thought. also makes fun of the digital divide between katie and her dad in a way that feels charming and not “ok boomer”.

it’s self contained. second movie (and book?) is just another case with the same characters, but they don’t even reference anything from the first case.

F is reserved for kind of “so bad it’s good”-movies, ones that tried but spectacularly failed. D just means it’s boring and bad and has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

thats an olsen ear for sure.

think it’s more of an incel/im14andthisisdeep thing, where fanbases will idolize the wrong person. it’s mostly making fun of all these memes pointing out flaws in the system and implying that maybe the joker had the right idea in trying to tear all of it down. basically all these “we really live in a society where

i thought it was a full CG shot, since everything looks kind of off (not to mention the really weird physics going on)

what an idiotic take on all fronts. all business are affected, they all have suppliers and networks with more jobs attached to it. you can play that game with pretty much any business out there.

“wind in the willows” comes close. similiar topic as well

it’s the exact opposite. portman can only play one type, the mousey quiet girl, and when asked to play that will do well. everything else she is terrible at.

considering the age of the target audience at this point expecting them to do some gay camp icon from the 60s isn’t too hot either though.

‘in total fairness’ is a cute way to phrase ‘well actually..’

meanwhile all the angry nerds are assigning the blame to johnson and kennedy.

considering the movie seems to get blasted everywhere, for once they can’t blame dowd for delivering the bad review (which are pretty much always right)

i thought it was a bit stupid that she was at the end basically explaining the whole plot of the movie when both women had obviously BEEN there. and the one doing the explaining is not even the one who was born there to begin with. felt weird.

judging from other comments i’ve read theres a massive disregard for civilian lives going on in this movie.

i mean it’s based on a real story and the woman did actually get charged so... *shrug*

all the “well aktschually...” replies to this are amazing

how do shitheels like you always get top comments on articles like these.. do you have google alerts set up for this kind of stuff so you know when to shitpost ? it’s pretty baffling.

low hanging fruit and not at all surprising but yeah go onto reddit and half the comments will tell you that summer is a total bitch for leading tom on all this time and so on. but then again that website still is also firmly on the “skyler is a bitch” hatetrain, so no surprises there.
