The Mini doesn’t have to win. Just has to wait long enough for the Mustang to be distracted by a crowd.

APR bypassed the new security measures a few months back. My GF has a 2015 so it wasn’t an issue. Went with the APR lower torque Stage 1 93. May go swap to high torque but really enjoy the naturally aspirated power band of the lower torque version.

Except getting rid of the cam follower that destroys the engine, improving the interior quality, making the engine more powerful, improving the appearance with LED taillights. and adding tech like adaptive cruise/headlights/suspension (none of which we got in the USA).

3-box car: OK. 2-box car: Fantastic. 2.5-box car: GTFO.

Keep your unobtainable to the U.S. cars out of this conversation!

They had a Mercedes.

But they have a Mercedes!

*looks at every electronic device and toy in his house* Yeah. We really hate buying things that are made in china.

Seeing little kids with their faces pressed against the windows though, that was cool to see. Kids know whats up.

Yeah... See that whole part about the predator convincing her to get naked on a webcam... has jack shit nothing to do with somebody getting their feelings hurt over a joke about their nationality/religion/sexual orientation.

Just unaware that Jalopnik is in bubble that still finds offensive humor funny, because we’re not giant babies and we can actually laugh at ourselves and shit on eachother without making a 5 minute youtube video holding up index cards with sentences about how we get bullied and nobody loves us, so we’re committing

Here’s the setup. The clamp was specially designed to hold the patch in place. The blue side goes down. The orange is a flammable material. You scrape the tube, put the rubber cement on the tube and let it dry, clamp the patch over the hole and light the orange material. You “could” improvise the clamp if you had too.

I remember those. We even knew a couple who had one.

Still won’t sell.

Everyone outside the US has known that Jeep doesn’t travel well forever.

Miss them so much

The US hospital would have had the machine, but the man’s insurance wouldn’t have covered it and so he would have had to choose between bankrupting his entire family or dying.

Smaller hospitals do not always have the needed gear, or specialty surgeons. My dad was transferred from our local hospital to one 28Km away for having two holes in his aorta. They stitched him back together again. All for $35 per month (Yearly) medical fee, and a $55 ambulance ride. All hail Canada!

Arriving at a scene, even a fairly minor one, I can tell you if the patient was wearing a restraint device or not. Water impacts are brutal. They didn’t just roll to a stop and take off their seat belt. Responders would have been able to tell.
