Starred for the dog sentiments, and un-starred for the cat thing, then re-starred because I felt bad and my point is made.

Yes! All the (very fast) applause for you.
It’s intensely fucked up, I agree.
I haven’t yet, but it’s been on my list forever, particularly since I found out how Harper is handling PTSD in Canadian soldiers returning from Afghanistan. Essentially: no one gets enough downtime to have the opportunity for PTSD to be noticed and registered in any official way, they just keep getting cycled through…
Zubrovka and apple juice is like drinking apple pie, if you’re into that. Good call on the films, despite the downbeat angle.
“Dobby has been given socks! Dobby is FREE!”
To be fair though if you think about what that building stands for, and what that publisher stands for, it is an interesting story (although the cafeteria coverage can go fuck itself).
She is terrible and should have all communication devices revoked, save for a single iPhone 4 programmed to only stream makeup tutorials to her, no outbound data whatsoever.
Thanks for the tip on that doc, and for the link to the WP article - the thing that struck me most about ZDT after the waterboarding was the huge role gender dynamics played in getting even the simplest things done, I can’t wait to see the doc. And Quantico looks pretty good too, it may be this semester’s one show I…
I just want to say that I love this entire thread, and the work you’re doing in it, thank you!
No Walgreens here, sadly. I keep checking our equivalent but they’re transitioning to their own Sephora knock-off brand, which is very hit and miss.
Ack. I have never heard of this before, but also I’m going to suggest that this is why it’s always recommended to test new products on a part that is not the middle of your face.
Ok, so I’m new to all of this. After decades of sunscreen and lip balm only, I started playing with mascara a couple of years ago and loved how it looked and how I felt. Now I’m experimenting with eye shadow, but I’m not sure I’m doing any of this right. Here’s where I’m at:
Yes! Coconut oil is amazing for all kinds of grooming things. I’ve been no-poo for four years now and it’s my anti-frizz go-to, and every now and then I do a scalp massage with it too. Since I started also using it to take off eye makeup, my lashes are so, so much longer and stronger on their own, too.
Coconut oil is the *best* at gently & quickly taking waterproof mascara off
This looks just like my beautiful fluffy bunny of a cat, and she looks like she’s got just as much of a character. I hope she finds a really good forever home!
Also agreed. Either big statement earrings and a modest bracelet, or long “quiet” earrings and all the hands-hardware shown up top. Either way, red lips, minimal eye make-up, hair down.
Sorry bud. Natural brunette.
Cate B I honestly don’t know, which is where I keep questioning whether or not the original post was sarcastic (although my instinct is sarcasm all the way). Lucy was pretty open about the red hair being fake, she made a joke about it in one episode and IIRC would talk to the gossip columnists about it when they asked…
