Yet another “why is this even an article on Kotaku?” moment.

I don’t post notes like this in Soulsborne games, nor do I find them funny... however, getting tilted enough to make a 2 page dissertation on the matter is fucking ludicrous. Go outside. Lighten up. Do literally anything else with your life.

Based on what exactly? The two attempts to introduce monetization into mod creation, and the subsequent blowback? The current backlash against loot boxes and virtual currency? The literal progenitor of the “Horse Armor” meme?

Written in reply to a Lifehacker article; a site with the arguable single purpose of telling readers how to do things.

No, they’re doing it right. The author was referring to the temperature of the beer when you drink it, not how you store the beer itself. If it is too cold, it numbs your tongue and taste buds. That’s the whole reason Coors wants you to wait until the mountains turn blue; you won’t be able to taste how bad it is

My new 4k TV has roughly 47,000 things I can customize and about 3500 preset “scene modes” and even more “sound modes.” They are in nested menus with non-obvious names and descriptions straight out of a poorly translated Korean motherboard manual from 1992 like “4x Oversampling: Sets the oversampling rate to 4x.”
