@ben1605: I get that. I am very familiar with the physics of projectiles. Beyond my degree, I was with an arty unit in the Marines (who are moving from Howitzers to missile/rocket systems in the future).
I see how this can be somewhat useful, but wouldn't non LOS weapons like missiles hold a huge advantage in anything other than relatively flat terrain?
@Beef-Teeth: It's not just you. I can't really get into Samsung. The constantly cheap feel of their products is one thing, but it's hard for me to get past the corruption and geopolitics of the company.
@dcdttu: I would have much preferred they stick with HTC, or team up with Moto.
@Usama: promoted for wanting to promote something unpromoteable.
@FriedPeeps: yup. No notification or anything from what my friend told me. Just a box on the porch. Hope I get one.
@Coocoo_kuhchoo: yea, google actually played a big part in designing the G1. They actually engineered the hinge system it used, and played a part in the keyboard design (among other things I am sure).
@Katie Abercrombie: participating != the same thing as helping organize.
@blyan is nominal too?: blaming 4 chan and grouping everyone who goes to the website is like blaming Gizmodo if a few of their members set up a ddos from whitenoise or something. i.e. - blaming 4chan as a whole is shallow and ridiculous. The site owners/operators have nothing to do with what the members do.
@wjbean: 10 years from now, he will probably be working with and/or the authority. Seems to be pretty common with teenage script kiddies who get caught. lol
@Fossa: great post, totally agree.
@theoldwolf: yup they should be, but it still happens due to various loopholes. This case began before the law was in place, and is currently going through the court system last I heard. I will look for links when I get home tonight.
@Fossa: yea, I don't see that ever happening. Apple makes too much money licensing their proprietary connectors, and selling 'camera kits'.
@MikeyFrog: you realize the iPad itself is made in China, right? In fact, most Apple products are.
@Drummertist v.3: I don't know how it's not a true sale?
@Spartanical: yea, unfortunately it's kind of unavoidable. Even with the laws currently in place prohibiting discrimination based on DNA, it's already happening with healthcare insurers. (Example: currently a woman previously tested to be homozygous for a mutated Brca2 variant was denied cancer treatment because…
@in ottermann speramus: yea. I guess for me (us), it's just the total lack of immersion because your fingers are covering a good part of the screen. Beyond that, there is no real feedback, which really sucks. Guess it just depends on what you like. I personally can't stand it and won't pay for another touch game…
@MaNiFeX: with a new version likely to be revealed in just a few months, hopefully without such a low resolution screen? No thanks.
I don't think a lot of people are really thinking yet what games mean on these touch platforms...
