In 6 months you are going to see them collecting dust in stores next to the new PS5 VR

Yeah, I kept looking at this thing and wondering why does it exist. I mean, this is basically just PS5’s version of the Wii U.

I know this is a gaming site, so the articles are always going to be specific to games.

As a dev, let me just say big L-O-L at “inflation” being the reason. It’s corporate greed, period. You think those profits go back to the devs?

So rising prices of gaming primarily goes to increased development costs.”

Just false. Maybe take a look at how many layoffs there have been this year.

It has nothing to do with inflation. Not all game are selling skins at that price, not all games have realised there fanbase has whales that are willing to buy them for that price. Also they still sell cheaper skins, it’s greed simple as, greed knowing that people will buy them that’s why they aim for nostalgia or big

I was more speaking from like.... an investor infrastructure POV. Your whole system relies on that specific game/IP being “popular” (or popular enough to have a player base large enough to profit from). The bulk of the community could move to a new game in a matter of weeks if something deemed “better” comes out.

Dickshots 4EVER!!!

“Grand Theft Auto VI will feature two protagonists, a male and a female”

Cool...

“and return to Miami, the location of its popular Grand Theft Auto: Vice City spin-off”

Neat...

“and will also be more cultural sensitive following an internal evolution of Rockstar’s workplace.”

Umm... wtf does a politically correct GTA even

I got a need... a need for... DRIVE!

Yeah, I’d delete that shit real fast.

Weebs once again being taken advantage of by a corporation? You don’t say?

I think it’s time to stop reading Kotaku.

Since then, folks have been waiting for another King Kong game”

Have they, though?

You don’t know anything about game development or working in general. Incredibly delusional post. Go experience some reality.

“Game Mill.”

‘GameMill’, how appropriate.

If you go on the Connections subreddit people are always complaining about the cross-category answers, somehow not understanding that they’re the whole point of the puzzle.

You partially have to hope you get lucky and managed to think like the creator.

Shell manager who came up with that line was probably like:

A spokesperson for the company directed Kotaku to that tweet when asked to elaborate on the situation.
