What is interesting is just how many great character actors are in that movie: John Malkovich, Ving Rhames, Steve Buscemi, etc. Nic Cage as a muscleed southerner was a miscast, but the movie works pretty well as an ensemble piece with all the great actors in the group.

No fight club reference yet? "I am Jack's colon"

I usually watch anime with english subs first, then I re-watch a series with the dub later. You have the experience of getting a slightly different take on the same characters when you watch one then the other.

I was expecting the AV club to perhaps have an article a few days ago about how Samuel L Jackson admitted to liking anime and hentai in his google autocomplete interview video with a raving firstie by Mohd, but the article never happened here and Mohd isn't here anyway. Oh well.

You obviously have not heard of Girls und Panzer. Schoolgirls driving tanks. Look it up, its actually pretty good.

To be fair, this was advertised all over as "this is the LAST FILM Jackman will be playing Wolverine. This is our SEND OFF of the character." HINT HINT.

because eggs and bacon are easy to count. Waffles are made with batter, a liquid, so it is harder to determine exactly how many waffles were made with so much liquid. The numbers are coming from the suppliers' distribution numbers and not from the store's sales numbers, I am assuming.

Will film Lobo follow in the footsteops of comics Lobo, starting out as a pastiche of the "grim 'n' gritty" superheros, only to be unironically embraced by fans of grim 'n' gritty superheros who aren't in on the joke?

She still can heal, IIRC wolverine's healing is slowed down by his adamantium skeleton. So the comics writers have her healing crazy fast without that slowing her down. So she is less tank-ish and more regenrative.

In the comics she only has Adamantium on her claws, not her whole skeleton. In the movie as well if you look closely at the surgery scene she only has her hands and feet getting worked on, and in her file it makes reference to "Adamantium points", suggesting it was only at a few places, not her whole body.

Or rewrite History!

Scrooge gave the impression to kids that Billionaires have this vault full of money and gold that holds most of their wealth, and the impression never faded away when they grew up to be adults. That's why there is talk about redistribution of wealth, snatching it away from the rich and giving it to the poor, which

Here in Duckberg….

You could ask Whovian to show us on the doll where the hashtag touched him.

Now wait just a cotton-pickin minute before you start with those!

That is one thing that the commentators kept reiterating: how young the Falcon's defense was. They would always say something like "this young Atlanta defense…" I was wondering what that was supposed to mean for the game.

People are hoping that Valve is working on Half Life: VR (it won't have a '3' in the title, of course) which will be the killer app for VR.

What's weird is that in College Ball, you are supposed to still root for your conference rivals when they are going up against other teams out of conference. Even though OSU and Penn State are rivals, an OSU fan will still want Penn State and the other teams in the Big 10 to win against teams from the ACC or PAC 12.

I agree that it is a lot easier to persuade people to hate than to persuade people to love. I am surprised John Teti didn't mention how the Patriots have pretty much absorbed all of the people who hate NFL commissioner Goodell. There are a lot of people who hate Goodell and want to see him humiliated as he hands the

Storytelling in a sandbox is hard. The wider and more open the world is, the less control the writer has over the narrative; the player has more control over what order events will happen in. The more time spent writing side characters and side quests, the shorter the main narrative will have to be. In order to have
