They don’t need to start at $100k to rival Mercedes, BMW, Audi, but they DO need to rival those brands. Right now only two Cadillacs come close - the new CT6 and XT4. If you look at those two cars you will see the future of the brand, and they are both legitimate rivals to their respective luxury competitors (CT6=A6,

I think being cool is key. Escalade has (had?) the cool vibe. It is over-the-top and very American style. CTS-V is cool too, although there is something about the CTS overall that is lacking. I’ve had 2 CTS-Vs (gen 2 and 3) and a V-sport, so you could call me a fan, but they don’t have the same cool factor as some of

I have a 2018 991.2. I find the interface to be cumbersome and non intuitive. Some features just flat out dont work like they are supposed to. I still have to search for some settings. And I really dont like the Apple only support. They should invest in support for wireless CarPlay and Android Auto and make that work

R&T says this has a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that is only used to start the engine. Huh?

I’m the target market for this thing, and can afford it assuming it isn’t $150k+. But just like the E63 wagon, the depreciation scares me away. I just can’t justify a quick $50k+ loss to put some miles on a fast German wagon. I mean the depreciation alone would pay for a good chunk of a GC Trackhawk or a number of

Porsche is about 5 years behind the technology curve for in-car infotainment, and this does not advance them any further. What is the advantage of this versus Bluetooth streaming or CarPlay? And what if I don’t use Apple Music?

I don’t think so, I haven’t posted this before that I remember. I mostly try to forget about that old Sundance.

I had a Plymouth Sundance back in the early 90s that would not idle. Meaning, it would rev up to redline when you came to a stop with the clutch in. At least I think it was redline because the car didn’t have a tach (weird for a manual car). Extra weird because if you gave it gas the rpm would come back down to where

Yellow is not my fav color, but I’ve owned two of them. Turns out I really like the bolder colors. I like white cars too

I’m not a big Lexus fan, but I love this thing and the green color.

Nice Supra!

I don’t know. Depends on the price of Z51 and the upper trim packages. I could see a 1LT base car, with only performance exhaust as an a la carte option being a really good value and one I would consider.

That makes sense. Just for grins, what if the $100 or $200 fee to waive the front plate went directly to, oh I don’t know, how about the State Police pension and retirement fund. I have a hunch the safety argument would quickly disappear.

My aging parents (in their 70s) recently bought a Buick TourX and love the car. It has more features and options/settings than they could ever begin to understand. I’ve helped them get the car configured to a way that is generally good for both of them.

I’m guessing the car was bought and paid for by the parents and the driver has never actually paid a bill in his life. Probably has no sense that electricity costs something. And has never mowed grass so does not understand why parking on the lawn would be a problem.

I looked very closely at an Evora 400. It drives great - very pure, raw, awesome sound. I loved it. It was ~$95k MSRP and the deal was around $75k, which I thought was a reasonable price for what it is. I ended up getting a 911 Carrera T for more money because I felt like the 911 is a safer purchase. I drive the 911

What if it had one of these! Just to poke a stick in some Italian brand’s eye.

Yeah, I live in the midwest with 6 months of the year having low temps likely under 40. Summer tires means I park the car for half the year or swap tires or extra set of winter wheels and tires (big hassle and expense). Being able to drive the car safely in low temps (not talking about snow) is much more important to

I’m mid 40s (genX), bought my first Corvette (a custom ordered C5 Z51 manual coupe) when I was 26 as an aspirational dream car type purchase. I’ve owned 2 Z06 Corvettes and 2 CTS-Vs, along with many other GM and non-GM performance cars. I currently have a 991.2 911 Carrera manual in the garage. My 16 year old son

Looks really good in white. I like it more than I thought I would.
