Most (not all) Pontiac dealers were also Buick and GMC dealers. Buick, Pontiac, and GMC. So, GM needs to keep Buick due to China. That means if they also kill GMC that a large number of dealers would be left with Buick only. Some of those dealers also sell Cadillac, but GM ultimately wants Cadillac to be a

I think we are looking at the 650HP supercharged 6.2L that will be in the Z07. Gone forever is the naturally aspirated, big cube LS7.

Imagine the future world where liquid petroleum reserves are exhausted. As in all gone, none left anywhere, liquid crude oil is unobtainable. National strategic reserves, backyard wells, leftover used oil containers, all of them gone. The military can't even get any oil. We will mine landfills for plastics and

Best justification for a brodozer that I've ever seen....

Suburban = The most useful vehicle on the planet

The C pillar must lean forward more. This looks too Ford like.

Back in the day I had a manual trans Plymouth Sundance that I drove 800+ miles to Florida a couple times. The car did not have cruise control. I improvised by using an umbrella wedged between the driver seat rail and the gas pedal. Surprisingly, it worked fairly well and held speed at an acceptable level. I always

Used to be true, sort of. Diesels are thermodynamically more efficient than gas engines, and can have a hard time maintaining operating temp if idled extensively, especially in cold weather. Idling extensively below normal operating temp can lead to fuel wash on the cylinder walls, and ultimately dilute the oil.

Hmm, I bought a new 2003 Silverstone with red interior, that I traded in 2005 with approx 14k miles on it. There were only about 200 Silverstone/red 03s made. You didn't get the car out of Indiana by chance?

Oh, wait, you said only one fatal flaw?

Does it seem like he is about one gear too high? If we was running in 5th it could overspeed that fisher price dyno.

But a modern LS sound is distinctive, and the LS7 in the Z06 is the best sounding LS. I can certainly tell the difference between the stock sound from a LS7 in a Z06 and other LS engines, especially when driven in anger. Check out the video at 1:20.

427 cubes of modern American muscle. Best sounding modern Corvette, and GM V8.

Today, muscle trucks are cheap, not cars.  Through the 80s and 90s the only widely available cheap V8 rear drive chassis was in full size pickups and SUVs.  I recently picked up a 91 Chevy pickup with a 454 and not that bad of condition for $1200.  It will hoon with the best of them.

Pssst, here's a little secret.  The SS will have the LS7 with a manual in a future high end performance model.  Maybe they'll call it the  SS SS.... or SSSS for short

I am serious.  LS7 will be available in this car.

The SS will have the 7 liter LS7 as a top end performance option.  You heard it here first...

E100! Or E85 if you're in a pinch...

The obvious question - is a regular cab, short bed, rear drive available with the 6.2 V8?
