I have a 9 year old Wheaten Terrier who is a great dog, but constantly barks at sounds (people in the hallway of our apartment building, mailman, ringing phones, vibrating phones, other random things we can’t hear, etc.), but only while inside. What’s the best way to intervene without escalating him?
