@PixiePie: I noticed she stopped commenting as much since she got her new boyfriend. I think the tiered commenting system might have been a factor too. She hasn't been around much since then.

@Ginmar Rienne: Exactly. I don't know if she was hit. Either do you. Therefore IF she was hit.
@badly drawn girl: That was in very bad taste, sorry!
@bwbcg: You mean Tim Horton's screwing over Starbucks?
@Ginmar Rienne: Well she claimed she was hit, if she was hit hard enough it would bruise. I'm not swayed by her multiple stories, I'm swayed with her multiple stories plus the fact she was mopping her apartment clean when the police arrived, despite having a dead housemate inside, and despite claiming to have been…
@shefightsback: Aw, that's really cute. Panda hats unite!
@Ginmar Rienne: There are a lot of reasons to consider it a reasonable verdict as well. And no, I don't believe all convictions are safe, I'm Irish, so I know all about the Guilford 4, Birmingham 6, and Maguire 7. I completely believe that people can be made to give false confessions. I just don't buy that here.
@bluewine: I don't believe someone would make up a very detailed account of being in the house while Meredith was murdered if they were innocent, even if they were railroaded. I know false confessions happen, but Amanda Knox wasn't tortured. If she had any bruises from being injured during her interrogation she would…
@bluewine: Then how was she convicted of murder?
@Ginmar Rienne: You only have her word she was railroaded. She could well be lying. It doesn't mean I don't think this is over the top, but I wouldn't trust a word she said since she changed her story many times AND implicated an innocent man in an extremely detailed account.
@FireflyinJuly: Most students studying abroad won't have murdered housemates and then act completely suss after the fact, so I think you're statement might be a tad over the top.
@shefightsback: Nope, I bought it. I love it, it's the snuggliest and warmest hat ever. I got it from River Island, but I think they're sold out for the moment. I'd say they'll get them in again because they're so popular. They have them on ebay I think.
@Hana Maru, used up old slutbag on the pole: Don't worry, I'm glad someone else brought it up. It's such a weird view. Especially since we all know the pets control us and not the other way round. Damn adorable pets.
@pumpkinseed: Maybe we should call them the 'isolationists'. for the reason Pinkcrickets cites.
@Justine: Exactly. Your campaign would work, especially with young teenagers who haven't begun to buy makeup yet. They could be inspired to search out non-animal tested products when they do buy makeup. Older woman may not be as easily persuaded to ditch the Touche Eclat and Clinique.
You can look smug all you want Jessica and Honor, but your grey hats are no match for my grey PANDA hat in the cuteness stakes.
@toadaleh: Exactly, I tried to become vegeterian when I was younger (my mother wouldn't allow it), but was turned off the idea later in life because of the likes of PETA. I'm more into Oxfam and human rights organisations than I am into animal rights, because I see it as a bigger and more depressing issue. To that…
@Hippopotame wants a star, dammit.: I can understand that, but it's like the argument Latoya raised about Breast Cancer Awareness. What use is 'awareness' or a pithy slogan if it achieves no meaningful end. At best it achieves nothing, and at worst it ultimately creates apathy.
@Lymed: I know, and that's why I get so annoyed at PETA and other radical human rights organisations. Why be radical for a cause if you truly believe in it, why not truly try and change matters instead of sticking to an absolutionist position.
