I’d love a Netflix series featuring Howard the Duck and Man-Thing done right, plus whatever other weirdness they can squeeze in. Werewolf by Night? Thog? Flying Pirates? Sure! Yes, it’d probably be inaccessible to most people. No, I don’t care.

“The final shot of the movie is dirt rising on Clark’s coffin, suggesting something is happening to his body inside. Also suggesting this resurrection?”

I liked Sliders when it first started, thought it had some potential in a goofy way. But, man, that show fell apart quick. Season 3 with its “movie ripoff of the week” was just plain horrible. I left in disgust about the time Rhys-Davies left. (“Brain drain”? Really?) Caught a few episodes after that and didn’t even

I approve this message.

I’m not going to read the article because I’m pretty far behind on watching this season and, y’know, spoilers... But looking at that image, did Eugene cut his hair?? Tell me it isn’t so!

Yeah, there’s a reason I pretty much walked away from comics in the ‘90s. On the other hand, there was some pretty good stuff then. Vertigo was going good with Sandman, Shade, Hellblazer and others. The indy market had Cerebus, Stray Bullets, Bone and plenty of others. Things weren’t all bad.

So... Flowers is playing Tulip?

I think the slipcase itself should have been the monolith.

That’s my problem too. I always pictured Roland as gaunt and weathered, a man who’s traveled too far and seen too much. If I remember right, Eddie described him as “tall and ugly”. Sometimes it seems as though Roland was taking that next step on sheer willpower alone. Elba is a great actor but he’s a little too

I’ll always remember him from Night of the Living Dead ‘90, with Candyman a close second. That stunned look while Patricia Tallman screams “Is this dead? Is this dead??” over and over. Good times.

Bringing back the Lone Gunmen is easy if you ignore the last couple seasons of X-Files.

I cannot binge watch that show. I really need to take some downtime to mull over what I just watched, which I think speaks highly of the series.

Remember those old stories where a computer self-destructs after encountering illogical human fallacies? I envision that happening here when Google cars have to deal with Washington drivers...

Will he stretch so far his limbs break and get goop all over the place? Because that was my main source of entertainment with that toy.

One of the things I loved about Cerebus back in the day, that I don’t think Dave Sim ever really got credit for, was the lettering. Generally it was very clean, but when he wanted he turned made it just as artistic as the art itself. With the right team, the lettering can absolutely add to the artwork.

I’m all for a remake if it means we get the original back on bluray.
