You obviously have never looked at Deadline’s past calculations on profitability. They’ve always included rentals and other line items beyond the box office in their calculations. 

That was how it was judged in the past. With shorter theatrical windows and more streaming the criteria changed. You think actors and producers who get a cut of profits don’t factor those things in now?
