Beats are with Apple + have a direct relationship with Interscope, so can put product pretty much everywhere at very little cost to the company. All done direct, so no agency wins there (for the most part).

It’s sort of comparable, but not quite. With the 2 broadcasters you get a load of differences. Ad breaks vs no ad breaks being the most obvious, but there’s also a large difference in the audience + approach to broadcasting content. BBC have a larger, broader audience, so can do the nice, English, slightly

WHY NOT?

We’ve had a similar situation in the UK over the last few years where people have come forward about abuse from the 60s/ 70s/ 80s and the people responsible are now being investigated and named.

What’s up with Julia Louis-Dreyfus?

I had something similar happen to me when I was on a holiday in Greece once. Too much to drink, went to someone’s house, passed out and then woke up with some guy I’d never seen before trying to creep into my knickers. He backed off as soon as I woke, and then I got the fuck outta there ... but still, I felt ashamed

Agreed. I know I wouldn’t go and visit her if I were Shannon (who’s been pretty clear about her thoughts on Vicki this season). Megan, maybe not so much, but I still get that it’d be really disingenuous for either of them to rush to her side.

I definitely made some questionable choices when I was 18 - who I hung around with, who I fell madly in love with every week, what I wore, drank, ate, took ... now I’m married, 35, in a good job and making slightly less dubious decisions than I was 15 years ago. My parents did a great job, but there’s no way they were

Erm... nope. We don’t do that, by and large. Accents are usually dependent on where you come from. They can change over time (my Birmingham accent is barely detectable after 20+ yrs not living in the West Midlands), but our voices are generally real, bonafide voices.

I’ve just moved to the states from the UK, and this is most definitely something that is far more prevalent here than back home. In the UK, you wear gym clothes ONLY to work out. Unless you’re very much in the not-working bracket, in which case you live solely in sweat pants (or jogging bottoms, as is more commonly

Can we also talk about how completely inappropriate Vicky is with HER DAUGHTER’S HUSBAND? (can’t remember his name, and can’t be arsed to google it).

Yeah, I know. I just thought it was a tad boring + overdone by about episode 6 though. There was a LOT of time spent focusing on his feet, rather than all the other characters.

Gonna be honest, I usually think Rihanna looks like she’s recently had sex, but hasn’t bothered to shower yet (see also: Rita Ora).

Yeah - the cat and his rashes seemed to be fairly clunky metaphors for stuff. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED this show. The first episode was so tense I think I pretty much held my breath for the whole hour, but the scabby feet + cat storyline got kind of boring after a while.

I’ve just moved to the US from the UK and had to try and figure out how to watch the Olympics on NBC. Have to say, the coverage from the BBC is far superior (and I know I’m biased, but it’s true). Far easier to watch live events, get serious and honest analysis from experts - and there’s no mental time delay.

Yoga pants are acceptable:

You can add me and Michael Bublé to that list too, for the 9th. It’s about 9months after NYE (I was a week late - not sure about the Bublé). I reckon our Mums liked to bring the new year in with a bit of good lovin’.
