You left a lot out of this review. The basketball team sketch, the one with the police investigations, the Tiny Desk.

I agree with you that this episode deserves a D. Every single thing else you said...is basically nuts?

My wife is also clueless so usually I give her a nudge, but then she’ll declare to everyone else in the room, “WHY ARE YOU NUDGING ME!?”

Okay, I will grant you that Ayo was spectacular, but when the entire show is filled with weak sketches like the “rom-com meet-cutes,” the narc students, and the interminable “town hall,” further normalizing TFG, there is no possible way that this gets a “perfect” score.

Malort is like Borscht - They didn’t know what to name it so just took the sound the person who ingested it makes when they throw it up.

It’s good to hear that, if you were in charge, Michael Che would have been protected from . . . a joke he wrote.  I agree with you that there’s just too much humor in this world, and we should instead make sure to determine (with percentages, no less) whether jokes have “bigoted intent” before we laugh at them.

White people like non-white culture = appropriation = RACIST

Wow, bold take.

So far, the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences has yet to issue an official statement in response to the critiques.’ Because it’s a BS woke take that doesn’t deserve one.

You’re sooo brave.

I don’t mean to be blunt but; you absolutely wasted hours writing this. This is a paragraph story, at most.

“Other past cast members include Nia Long and the late Miguel Ferrer”

Star Trek II: The Wrath of James Caan

She’s been a millstone around the show’s neck for a few years now.

Can we also finally admit that Kate McKinnon, although very talented, might be a tad overrated versus a criminally underrated and far more versatile Cecily Strong? Kate’s Fauci and Giuliani impressions sound exactly alike, with neither sounding anything remotely like the men she’s supposedly imitating. And on that

The most “problematic” thing about this whole scenario, is you calling out Nye as a sellout. You go to great lengths to explain how coke has a huge problem with waste, yet somehow insinuate it’s Bill Nye’s fault for making a commercial. Bill Nye has done more in his 66 years on this planet to educate children and

Oh my gosh a different list of words well this is basically as bad as the holocaust

Honestly it’s kind of hard for me to get mad at the NYT for not letting you guess racial slurs in Wordle anymore. When “slave” and “lynch” were the words of the day (and they were both going to be), don’t you think they’d look bad on social media? I get why they wouldn’t want that.

Which is easy to find out and you would expect a “writer” about SNL to know.

i was excited and everyone else who has played it seems to think its very impressive, but now i think you make a good point and im not excited anymore.
