I don’t really know how to explain this, but the ICON’s just don’t fog. They just don’t.
The thing is, once David Emmet writes about a thing, you just point everyone at that instead of trying to do the same. Because yours will suck in comparison.
The tone shift between the bike and non-bike stuff is violent
Such a shame they let you go. I won’t speculate, and as nasty as it is to say, there are A LOT of other Gawker writers that deserved this. Not you. The comments clearly show how much people care about you and your content, and more importantly, that you affect peoples’ lives.
Hey Sean. Thank you. Truly, sincerely.
You’re the top 3 in the US moto journalist elite. Right there with Jensen Beeler and Ari Henning. Not counting Oxley and Emmett. Because those guys really only talk GP. And they’re Brits or something. Anyway. Where was I... Oh yeah. Get back to work. I need entertainment.…
Sean, I wanted to take the time to say that I’m sorry for whatever happened occurred. I hope this doesn’t cause you to second guess on chasing your dream.
You let us know where you land, and we’ll keep reading. HFL -> CT -> LS -> The Future.
Also, damn you for getting me into sniffing around SuMos. Once I get the tool shed built, I’ll have room in the barn for a DRZ or KLX.
You should have! Instead I got drunk with Dovi and Rossi and hated my life the next day. Never drink with racers who crashed that day. They’re on a mission.
hahahahaha. fucking wes man.
I’ve toyed with the idea, and like that a paywall keeps some of the riff raff out, but it’s hard to grow something to the size needed to get attention from the OEMs. No OEMs means no press bikes or launches, which leaves you pretty much just commenting from the side.

I would. I actually really love the Monster 821 because I think it hits such a nice sweet spot, but I’d def wait for this.
Facsinating. I read every link. I’ve always associated it with a violent person who’s lacking on smarts and morals. And, unlike what the first article suggests, I would have absolutely called a blonde guy a thug. In fact, for some reason I assumed all of these riders were white before I went back to check the video…
I see very few things in common with the guy who wants to ride a sportbike in a straight line fast with his thug buddies, whilst wearing shorts and a t shirt - and the guy who truly loves and tries to experience motorcycles.
My choosing to make my life revolve around something where you can be crushed by a car should tell you I'm exactly that dumb.
But the SP doesn't need brakes or suspension.
“Worth it” is tough, because we obviously lose money every time we sell something used and then pay sales tax on something new - but yes, it’s definitely much, much better. The motor is SO much more fun and it’s way better on public roads. Ride one and you’ll have a really hard time going back to your bike :(
I would have thought he’d be better at turning left.
His wheel, frame, collarbone... All Broeckx
I THINK YOU MEAN
