Yep. That’s the other big problem. Spread QBs are a terrible fit in the NFL for that exact reason. They don’t really “read” defenses in those systems. Doesn’t mean they can’t succeed in the NFL, but they basically have to re-learn how to play QB at the NFL level. Some guys just can’t handle that.
