I liked it, too! It was simple and pretty.

Yeah, I'm not even a fan and could maybe name one of her songs, but I like her.
I agree. Given how perfect women are supposed to look (especially in something like a pageant) being so open about what judges might call an imperfection is a big step.
The guy you responded to has been trolling Jez for a few days, now, by the way.
I was wondering the same thing. If she's had her entire large intestine removed, it would have to be an ileostomy, but if she's only had a resection, colostomy is possible.
Yup. But because she's a woman, she's obligated to be available sexually, I guess. *eyeroll*
Exactly. A guy who does that kind of thing is not exactly a turn-on for most women.
Agreed. It sounds like he's not really being much of a partner.
I have nothing clever to add, just that I completely agree.
I wish I could star this comment more than once.
Unfortunately, some guys—and maybe her husband is one of them—feel entitled to sex and don't accept "I don't want to" as an adequate response and require the "excuses". Plus maybe she feels guilty about not being in the mood, and doesn't want to make it seem like it's some personal thing against him.
Well, because it's all her fault and she's the problem, here, of course. Duh.
I can't speak for anyone else, but, personally, the idea of having sex with the type of guy who would be happy with me just lying there isn't exactly appealing. It sounds more like masturbating with a warm body than any sort of mutual partner interaction. Not to mention, if I'm too exhausted to have sex, the likely…
The problem is that you don't always know if it's a medical issue until you get checked out. And this guy's spreadsheet shows that she's tried telling him she's tired, but he considers it an "excuse" and is using it to keep score.
Yeah. Or that she needs "excuses" at all. It suggests a level of entitlement and obligation that is just...really...not good.
I completely agree.
This.
Or she could have hormonal issues. Or she could be exhausted and overworked. Or she might be turned off by having a husband who's petty enough to keep score and feels entitled enough to her body that he doesn't realize that not wanting to have sex is sufficient reason by itself and that classifying it as an "excuse"…
Bingo. I don't know about anyone else, but, to me, a guy who keeps score like that is a massive turn-off.
Unfortunately. I can't figure out WHY, though.
Man. Planning a party for a one-year-old you actually *know* is kind of pointless (the kid's not going to care), but a famous kid? Yeesh.
