That sounds like an excellent idea. I hope you're able to do something like that someday!

Yes! That's the thing that bugs me about the phrase (and very idea of a) "man cave". Women need their own space to retreat to and be by themselves sometimes, too, and saying it's the kitchen and/or rest of the house is a sexist cop-out.

Right? My goodness, language would become SO much easier.

I love the point you make in your last sentence. I've never thought of it quite so concisely before.

I agree. Also revealing is the fact that I had to read it three or four times to figure out what the hell she was on about.

I don't even know who this Bobbi Kristina person is, but I already dislike her.

I agree that experimentation between children of the same age group is fairly common, but what's being described here, both in the story and in the comments so far in this thread, is MUCH older kids—or adults—taking advantage of the power imbalance between them and young children and doing whatever they want to their

That seems like an exceedingly reasonable expectation. I'm sorry your friends were assholes about it.

I always thought Frito pie involved a bit more finesse than dumping chili into a bag of chips. Like, at least a casserole dish or something.

Right? Totally believable!

That was my thought, too.

I haven't seen it with the last couple casts. I stopped watching it years ago because it drove me crazy how no one could ever finish a sentence because of everyone else interrupting and talking over them.

Me, too! They're feminine without being fussy, and they look good on just about everyone.

Someone posted the video down below, too :P
