In some ways, the fact that she tries to behave as though she is some kind of moderate and by extension a moderating factor in this clown car from hell we call an administration makes her more repugnant than the ones that are just explicitly open about how awful they are (Bannon, Pruitt, DeVos).

I think most of the problem is that she’s played it dead serious. If she just played it like a joke making fun of the IOC everyone would be on her side. Instead she’s playing it off like she’s a legit Olympian, which makes it more of an insult to the people who actually deserve to be there.

She went out of her way to find technicalities to compete, instead of you know, training and getting better. She KNEW she wasn’t at the level of the other athletes so she purposely went to obscure events where the best weren’t competing, that were technically international.
