It doesn’t matter. She should get to decide if she is a victim or not.

You’re absolutely right. But there is a very large swath of people (very public people) that don’t want you to admit this.

Think that we live in such a nanny state that we want institutions to override the individual decisions of people.

These girls are not cute. They are as plain as plain can be. They’re not ugly, but they are not memorable when it comes to physical beauty.

You’ll never find an example of a powerful company/person in a capitalist nation that doesn’t get help from the gov’t, which makes sense.

There’s disagreements with them all, but Christianity isn’t pulling these stunts across the globe. Nations aren’t dedicating billions in dollars a year in order to fight Christian extremism.

Does he not put both hands on the ball at second 0:17-0:18?

Here is a question: why didn’t they act?

Here’s the thing though. These guys have done nothing but gotten more powerful with the previous president.

You’re missing one key thing.

Yes. The world has never known this because of the inherent drive to produce the next Big Idea. You can remove the incentive to the point that that will stop happening. You can also create environments that will absolutely prohibit it.

There are absolutely extremist religions that do this. Maybe not with a broad brush, but they exist. The Bible absolutely promotes it in the Old Testament as well (not just the Quran).

You should read up on Islamic Jihadists and terrorists. They are extremely brave. Brave to the point that they are willing to fight the natural, biological urge to not die.

Yeah. I agree we are talking about the same thing.

In a free market, the public good is simply a byproduct of the private good. Not treating it as such is, essentially, a push towards Communism.  Communism sounds great (like pensions), and may even look great in the beginning, but with time, will always fail because it is an untenable method of governance.

This is an interesting idea.

Pensions have never really worked fine. They always work initially, because the front-end of a pension is extremely profitable (everyone is paying in, but only a few are benefitting).

Even worse, it’s that groups of folks will be blessed with their money, not individuals. We have taken the notion of the individual out of our collective thought process, and now require group membership. Which explains the group-think of grasping for cries of discrimination, as it’s now the only prescribed member

No you’re not. You can put it into a money market fund, which is essentially a “holding stock” that holds no risk.
