The natural disaster stuff was great, actually.

Civ 5 was a poor vanilla game rescued by two truly outstanding expansions. Civ 6 was a great vanilla game with two truly abysmal ones.

While I agree that Civ 5 is the best as of today, Civ 6 was by far the best vanilla game of the series. In contrast to 5, the expansions of 6 were just so disappointing. The era score mechanic was horrible; sometimes delaying your first unique unit by several turns was optimal so your score would apply to an age that

Flores kept at it, especially in one particular case with a streamer he declined to name, because it allowed him to gain community notoriety and forge what felt like valuable friendships. He even became a chat moderator for the aforementioned un-mentioned streamer, which “in a way amplified my compulsive donations.”

Not sure where you get the idea that Xhaka belongs at this level. He can spray some excellent long passes, but that one skill of his requires him to play deep in midfield, where he is exposed out of possession on a regular basis. And he routinely makes errors that result in goals conceded.

There was an excellent Smash Bros player who used the handle “Dr. Peepee”.

There’s a good point somewhere in there about all team twitter accounts being fucking terrible.

It would be pretty ironic if the League card game has a friendlier monetization model than Artifact (which it almost certainly will).

Yes, this is a great use of developer resources.

As I Giants fan, I envy the Dolphins for being a team that knows they’re tanking.

I am not saying that the Steelers made a bad decision, all I am saying is that they are a worse team without him. I don’t know how this is even debatable.

At this point, Moncrief has a pretty long track record of being bad at football.

The Steelers essentially swapped out Brown for Donte Moncrief, and loads of idiots think this has improved them as a football team.

The teams involved are totally irrelevant to the basic question of, why are the rules enforced so strictly when it’s a totally unavoidable and inconsequential ball-to-arm play, but not when a player gets grabbed and pulled down in the penalty box?

But VAR failed to correct an obvious penalty that went uncalled in the first half. You are not allowed to grab and pull down an opposing player. You can argue the severity of the grab, as TV people have done for ages, but you cannot argue that the player was grabbed. And like the handball, grabbing players is against

Let me see if I understand your argument here. You are applying the “by the rules, the goal should not count” argument for VAR on a goal that had maybe a 1% chance of being ruled out by naked eye. Yet, in the same comment, you say it’s okay that VAR ignored an obvious penalty because there are “15 a game”, even

I still think a QB is more likely to be injured standing in the pocket without looking at who is hitting him than being a ballcarrier and being able to anticipate the hits. Lamar in particular has shown an ability to avoid taking big shots when running.

All of these practices you complain about, as well as punishing hidden city, are significantly driving down airfares. And the savings from hidden city are rarely comparable to the aggregate savings on travel if you use miles.

I’ll definitely be giving this a look, but for me the best boardgame-on-phone is easily 7 Wonders. Each game takes maybe 5 minutes with almost no downtime and interesting decisions to make, and since I was new to the actual board game (and a relatively competent AI), it took me a while to figure out how to win. The UI

holy shit.
