Good. Better than watching foul-timeout-2 seconds of basketball-timeout-foul-timeout-repeat.
Other than a few extreme circumstances, basketball is the only sport where it serves a team to repeatedly commit fouls (sometimes soccer, but a “good foul” is a yellow card).
The problem I’m having with this game right now is that the escort games are FAR more enjoyable than those where it’s just capture an objective. The game also won’t tell you which map is next before it starts loading, so I don’t want to leave at that point. Why are you forced to play both without being able to choose?…
Many of my friends got PS4s after I got my Xbone. The only truly differentiating thing, for me, is the controller - I used Dual Shocks for years until I realized that having the primary stick where the Xbox has it is many times more comfortable for me.
McIntyre had bet Clemson +6 and was under the impression that more people betting against him (reflected in the line going higher) made his winning more likely.
His incredibly awful Twitter account suggests an IQ somewhere in the 40-50 range, particularly when it comes to gambling. I mean look at this:
I can’t wait until there’s an Uber for this.
Thankful: My Career was the only thing that was Aborted.
I’m surprised at the amount of love Tirico is getting here. I recognize that he’s very good at calling game action as it’s happening, but Christ, beyond that he can’t help but spit as much irrelevant information as he possibly can at the audience, often going on tangents that involve different teams, leagues, and even…
Thief 2: The Metal Age - The best ever single player experience by far, in my opinion. Puts games with mini-maps and leveling systems to shame. If only the graphics held up a little better.
I hate to be the guy who does the “so what?” post in an esports thread, but despite that rather exciting ending, there were 15 total kills in this game after an hour had passed. How did you manage to sit through that?
Are you referring to 6th place Man U with 37 goals in 29 games, or some other team?
Whether it’s cost effective for a team like Man United to have a youth system is actually an interesting question, given that in this era they are always able to buy an established player when the need arises. Nearly all ofthe good youth players from the big English teams tend to go out on loan for years before…
I would agree that protesting a 100 year old aspect of the game is silly. I would also point out that it’s silly that this is the only major sport in which it’s so often advantageous to commit a foul (rule changes to prevent hack-a-player would not change that). And personally, it just gets harder every year to watch…
The games would still end in and endless parade of fouls and, instead of free throws, the team ahead would keep taking the ball out of bounds and continue to inbound into fouls. That would be pretty brutal, too.
As horrible as the NFL comes off looking after every development on this issue, I am many times more disgusted by the NCAA; also making a ton of money off the sport but not even bothering to pay its participants.
Daily reminder that sports gambling is much easier to monitor if it were legal nationwide.
That projection model evaluates teams based on “expected goals” (basically where they take their shots from and how quickly, among other factors) and then uses those team strength ratings to simulate the remaining games.
