What if we’ve already bought a couple games on Origin (I have Sims 4, SimCity and one of the older Battlefield games) - will we be able to transfer them over somehow? I hate having another launcher just for a few games, and would rather just have everything under Steam.

It’s not like this is the only video game out there to play. There are loads of fun video games out there that *aren’t* censored, because nobody thought they had to be. I would probably choose to play one of those instead. I will have just as much fun as you will, without supporting censorship.

She’s 17, and no one was injured. Yet she should be banned FOR LIFE from driving. What is wrong with you? People who commit vehicular homicide don’t get that penalty. In fact, no one does.

“Traveling” is probably my favorite Utada song, and is definitely my favorite video. I remember buying the DVD at the time it came out, then lending it out to someone who asked me to see it (a Japanese girl, no less) and she promptly trashed it. This was at the time when you couldn’t just watch stuff on YouTube or

Just start at the beginning. Her most famous stuff is her early stuff, and she exploded onto the scene with “Automatic”, which was from her first album (when she was 15) and was from her first single too (I’m not totally clear on this; I think it might have been the b-side to “Time Will Tell” originally, but then was

Nintendo can include libraries that please most people because the most popular games for their systems are, and always have been, first party games. They don’t need to worry about licensing. Sony does.

I have a feeling this was canceled for no other reason than to promote sales of the SNES. In 1991, Nintendo was quite a bit further behind in the 16 bit war than they expected and was pulling out all the stops to catch up, and it definitely wouldn’t have helped them to sell SNES’s if the NES could play SimCity too (at

It wasn’t actually ready for distribution. They clearly did a lot of work on it, but reading through the linked article, it sounds like something you can futz around with for a while but that’s not really playable as an actual game. The calculations aren’t done correctly, for example, which is kind of the entire game

we could get anything delivered, for free, in a couple of days.

And with VR apparently not crushing it with the actual games, I’d be pretty mad/disappointed with what I ended up with.

But the struts could have been moved forward without changing the angle and been connected further up the nacelle and the same amount of room could have been acheived.

It warns all the other ships moving faster than the speed of light on similar trajectories, duh.

Pretty sure I agree with all of this. I’ve watched this series all the way through multiple times (and own both that DVD box set and all the movies, in both DVD and laserdisc box set forms), and I’ve always acknowledged the criticisms while at the same time dismissing them as missing the point. All the stuff people

I would argue, why can’t a strong woman be evil?

From what I recall, NFL 2K was the first console football game to support online play, and every Dreamcast had a modem built in. So it’s not surprising that the top two games are what they are.

Canon is important for people to know and understand what it is that they’re actually watching. Without it, you may as well just take the Trek name off it and market it as something totally new. Oh, you’re worried it wouldn’t do well without that name recognition? Well, congrats - now you know why canon’s important.

Sigh... so R is a nurse who doesn’t understand how emergency contraception works, which means she also doesn’t understand basic anatomy or major medications. Remind me to avoid that hospital.

Someday MS is gonna get over that 100 unit per week hump, and then it’ll be time to break out the champagne.

I just want the actual games on a modern system for less than $10 a pop. Sega and Nintendo aren’t *really* giving Switch owners a “choice” there, unless that choice is just “buy it for the PS4 or Xbox One instead”.

The way you really can tell how ridiculous that pose is is that not one of the teams who tried to imitate it could actually get it totally right. I’m not sure it’s physically even possible to stand that way. It’s like that drawing must have captured them in the middle of all of them falling down.
