The Dodge Mansion in Auburn Hills, MI is huge and beautiful. I think it was built by one of the widows after the death of the brothers. We had a Christmas work lunch there once and it was neat but the kind of wealth it takes to build something like that as a home is mind bending

Maserati has felt like Ferrari’s Buick for a while in my mind. Not that i’m anywhere in their potential customer base but when I had my ‘What would I buy if I won the lottery’ fantasy I never think of a modern Maserati.

We all have an acceptable level of risk in our pursuits and there is nothing wrong with ‘slowing down’ a bit. Situations like this just remind me to live fully and to not keep putting things off till next year.

Seems like she crammed more living into her short time than most people do in a full life. I lost someone like that too. It was like she had to live fast because she knew time was short. Godspeed Kat.

As far as I can tell they just realized they could remove them and most people wouldn’t notice (Cost reduction!! Someone met their targets.) And now they can sell it back to you as a ‘smokers package. It also frees up space in the center console area for all that new fangled technology people can’t live without.

It allows you a second chance to burn some of the unburned combustion products. This helps mileage slightly and betters emissions. Change your oil regularly and the extra ‘dirt’ isn’t a concern.

But the investment in the people and development of the programs is insanely expensive but the OEMs insist on doing it in house. I bet GM doesn’t spend the coin on their infotainment that Apple spends on it’s development
