My fantasy would be to have those not wearing masks have to pay the medical expenses of those they infect. This is a more achievable step in that direction. You’re “free” to not wear a mask. And we’re free to make you pay for the consequences.

Caskets are convenient for delivering and storing the bodies, and don’t do much to impede the decay process unless you do something stupid, like make them out of metal or seal them shut hermetically. There’s even caskets made out of fancy-looking but easily biodegradable cardboard.

I like this solution. Seems to get the point across very well. I’d love to see such an idea gain popularity here along with other solutions such as community service for no mask dingbats.
