I'll mention that the back seats are surprisingly comfortable. I had a chance to ride in one a number of years ago - quite a comfy ride.

I'll second (or third? fourth?) that! Our family had a 1980 Buick LeSabre wagon growing up. At the time, it had more pulling power than some of the pickup trucks of the day, and could still fit a sheet of drywall inside when the seats were folded down.
I have a friend who has got one. It definitely pulls pretty hard when he puts the pedal down. That being said, it does seem like a wicked-heavy car (we had to push start it once after the start motor died).
Now from what I understand, they offered two versions of the SS over the years - the first being supercharged and the later being turbocharged.
Ever have any electrical issues? I have a friend who had one, and her battery was constantly going dead - likely a slow leak or short somewhere.
Has anyone ever run a Diplomat in LeMons? I think it would be the perfect Yank Tank award winner.
Supposedly it's a 300HP EV: http://www.engadget.com/2012/09/27/venturi-announces-300hp-America-EV/
To be honest, I don't see them going down much. Considering the overhead that oil and gas companies are putting in to make more fuel, they aren't going to put money into it unless they know they are going to make money on it. If fuel demand does drop, the rate of new oil and gas developments might drop as well, but…
Just keep in mind that it's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than to drive a fast car slow.
It might just be the white balance/lighting on the photos.
Maybe it's just me, but I see exhaust tips as been the automotive equivalent of a fake... well... male organ. They don't do anything extra, it's all just there for show. The end result is the same, but it makes whoever has it feel that much bigger/badder? It's usually truck with those sort of tail pipe…
Hahahah! #COTD
So when you fuel up, do you get the fuel grade choices of chalupa, gordita, or burrito?
Actually, now that I think about it, OnStar must have some sort of cellular connection...
I think we are getting mighty close. There's already protocols and standards set up for in-car WiFi.
I can only dream. If it ever goes that cheap again, I'll be doing road trips everywhere across the continent. Just because I can.
Oh crap - we're doomed. How long is it before cars get Facebook integration? Maybe that's what the Mayans were referring to...
You can bet that if OPEC cranks their prices up, Canada will notch theirs up as well - especially with increasing production costs.
Chalk up another one agreeing with you. It's a terrible idea. How long is it going to take car designers (and consumers) to figure this out?
Taco Bell to become major world energy producer? Who would have thought...
