A lot of people around here (Alberta) seem to have a truck and an SUV (and maybe a sports car, if they are particularly affluent). The truck is for towing the trailer/boat, and the SUV is for the soccer mom. That, and I've seen a few very overloaded SUVs pulling loads much too heavy, resulting in the front wheels

That's the thing though - you hardly ever see someone towing something with an SUV. Maybe more as of late (you know, recession and all), but 99% of the time they are parked next to the soccer fields or in the grocery store parking lot.

You'd be amazed at how many people I've shoveled out of the snow. I drive an '01 civic (stock, and it's going to stay that way). From Canadian Thanksgiving to May, I carry an aluminum grain shovel in my trunk because it can get pretty nasty pretty quick. In the past 5 years, I've only had to shovel myself out once

I've been wanting to make bumper stickers that say something like that. "Nice truck. Sorry to hear about your penis."

"... and that kids, is how Uncle Leroy ended up in a wheelchair for the rest of his life."

Make that "anything that Paris Hilton is sitting in". I wonder what shes pays for insurance. Or rather I should say, I wonder what her dad pays for her insurance.

Any info about that crash? It looks like there was some fire damage to the truck.

I'll second that. That, or Dodge, er, Ram diesels.

Tuxedo t-shirt, shirtless, wearing a baseball cap, or with snakeskin boots.

I don't think the vehicle matters so much as the position in the vehicle. Back seat? Yep, it's plenty possible to get it loads of trouble there.

If it were 20% smaller and 20% lighter, I'd be much more impressed with it. Right now, it just looks like ... a tank.

True, but I've heard some interesting things about the V6. It is a bit lighter than the V8, and it doesn't have issues putting down all it's power to the road. I've got a friend who does some autocrossing, and he says the guys with the V6 mustangs generally do better. Of course that may be just a result of the V8

Good to know. Thanks!

Not too shabby.

Me too! I figure it's a pretty good way of sorting the wheat from the chaff, so to speak...

Interesting. They do appear to be quite similar indeed. FB powered BR-Z? I approve.

139 hp/L is nothing to sneeze at, either.

How much is a V6 Mustang going for these days?

Yet somehow, it still reminds me of medical care in the good ol' US of A.
