Looks legit to me as well. Looks like there is a flash to the left of the photographer - you can see the shadow of the woman's leg. Sometimes it helps to use a flash in situations like that, as otherwise you end up with really dark shadows or a dark subject and a light background.

I'd be curious to know that as well.
