Hatred of “un-fasteners” on a static component like the stuff he’s showing is odd. How does he feel about bolts and nuts used in critical and high stress applications like brakes, suspension and internal engine components?

I’ve watched a few of these and love the technical discussion, though I always feel like his hatred of the “parts bin” is a bit too idealistic maybe, in that he acts like it’s just laziness and money that drives parts bin engineering when there are as many reasons for it as there are against.

I can only assume he did the superhero landing... it seems appropriate given the actions he took.

Butt first. A belly flop from 30ft would be incredibly painful and disorienting I’d think. 

Earlier on in the article it says 2 year old, so not quite an infant. That car seat still should have been attached with the LATCH system though. I’m curious as well as to what failed.
