@Erik The Red: I'm replying late here, but don't worry about apps staying open. You should be running 2.2, which manages open apps very well. 2.1 and earlier could be kind of temperamental and benefited from a task killer but that's not true on Froyo and later.

Why is this funny?

Goddammit

@leonardlow: "Classification is irrelevant"

The app was taken down because the spread of classified information is illegal. The information is now out there, but it still hasn't been officially declassified, therefore it's not legal to spread, therefore the app was removed by Apple to avoid being shrieked at by law enforcement.

@IAmAGenius: While I love my Vibrams wearing them in winter for more than about half an hour is a great way to lose a couple toes

Number seven: I am utterly unable to cook, and everything I've seen of beer brewing makes it look like fairly terrifying alchemy dependent on deliberate measurement and careful cleaning. I love beer but I'm sure as hell not up to making it.

If you dig this kind of stuff and you're in the Mid-Atlantic, go to Magfest. It's a hell of a time and as close as you're gonna get to 1992.

This is an incredibly depressing read

@xhedgehogx: Not like this. Not like this...

@ssspinball: you're describing an all-or-nothing situation that is the exact opposite of the conditions I described, and isn't relevant for most people, but keep on keepin' on I guess

It should have been Lady Gaga

"Android media experience is still pretty weak compared to the iPhone, from getting music on there (sorry, drag and drop is not media management)"

@dtptampa: Well, look at the historical precedent: Halo 3's Legendary edition, which retailed for $150, was going for about $30 at Best Buy a year after it was released. That is to say that it was cheaper by half to buy the special edition of the game than to buy the regular, sitting on a rack in a plain ol' DVD case

Holding out for Reach Legendary to hit $40. Shouldn't be much longer.

@Curves: That's hardly fair! They might look similar, but they're unique entities, with lots of different interests. #0041 (second from left) enjoys floral macrophotography, and #0287 on the right there likes to rend the flesh of biologicals.

I still don't get the Angry Birds love. I liked Crush the Castle a lot better. The mechanics for what constituted a successful shot versus one that didn't get the job done felt a lot more clearly defined.

@JonThomasDesigns: Why did you censor the word "fricking?" For that matter, why would you censor the word "fucking?"
