Even my trombone is rusty!

Ah yes, anti-seize, the herpes of the workshop.  That shit gets ALL OVER!

I would rebuild it myself.  If honing it isn’t cutting, find a shop to hone it with a machine.

Yes, another good addition. I had a pretty good paying co-op job.  In my case, however, my co-op job ended up having no real impact on the job after graduating.  Still, it paid the bills quite nicely.  $17/hr in the early 2000's was nothing to shake a stick at.

That last comment that horsepower is no help in knowing how fast a car is... That’s the only real way to compare two cars, though. Torque only matters if you know the gear ratio, without that HP will tell you which car is going to be faster.

A tubing bender is far easier to use if you have a hoist. Are you aware of this company in Waterford? You can rent a hoist for $25/hr. I believe there is one in or near Livonia too.

That’s pretty much what I was getting at.  You do bring up another point about waiting.  Some companies will pay for your schooling.  I got my Masters paid for by my company.

mmmm Makers Mark, aurghglhglh.

Great article. I’m about 10 years in, so here are a couple things I’ve noticed.

I really hope they fixed the camera controls.  They were the worst aspect of the old games, and the reason I quit playing them.

The trend I hope that gets left behind is me coming to this site. I’ve been doing it for so long and the habit is so ingrained that I barely notice I am typing “bl” into my browser to visit the old blog.Jalopnik.com. Jalopnik isn’t what it used to be. It used to be a site for car enthusiastes, now it’s more often than

(You can’t shut off a cow.)

My favorite was a friends lab who didn’t understand his farts, and they were loud.  Every time it happened he jumped and had to inspect his butt, like “what the HELL was that?!”

Who lets ham go to waste?

Funny, my pit rarely clears a room, but my lab on the other hand, PHEW! And she loves to lay on the floor next to you while she farts.

I hope they can pull a wedge out, I’m a little tight in turn one.

It’s going to be worth the wait. Since I work at Ford* I got a chance to drive a camo’d version (don’t know if it was sport or not), but it was awesome to drive. I’m not allowed to say much more, but the Jalop community is going to love it.

*My opinions are my own and do not necessarily represent Ford Motor Company.

6.99 for a tin of Grizzly?! Damn.

What do they look like after cooking?

Magnetos>coils during an apocalypse.
