Still the same challenging dynamics. Ever seen an articulated 6x6 with a multi-degree of freedom pivot operated at high speeds by minimally trained drivers?

Well, not only do I see you on airplanes, but we also pass the same broken down cars! Either that, or there was another broken escape with a broken ball joint in the metro Detroit area.
Redact all driving laws and let nature take its course. Less people = less climate change.
I’m not a fan of EE because he misses some details and gets them wrong. Being an expert in a field he talks about is frustrating because he gets some of the details wrong. And most of his content is regurgitating information that is already out there. Some of his personal experiments are kind of neat.
You’d need a pretty big generator. Most generators are 5hp, and MIGHT be able to keep a small car going. Depending on the trailer and the extra drag, you might need a 50hp generator.
Cost and payload. Having all those extra batteries will reduce what the trailer can haul. There would also be some pretty challenging dynamics involved with the trailer pushing the truck too.
Hybrid will be the cat’s pajamas for towing.
Hey, it was cool spotting you on a plane a couple months back! You didn’t look like like a guy with a habit of buying old cars, if that helps any, haha.
10/10 for the landing, roll out needs work.
Eh, I think the whole generational thing is arbitrary and stupid. Was just going for sarcasm mostly.
Oh for sure. and I’m ok with that. Maybe it’s just me, but it feels like this site is lot more negative lately.
God, the contributors to this site complain a lot. Just today, loud exhausts, now an accessory that some people like... Sorry, I’ll get off your lawn, ok boomer?
Why do these self help things never recommend turning the burner off? If you turn the burner off, there is no ignition source, so you have a mess to clean up if it boils over, not an inferno.
He was also quoted as saying he couldn’t help his owner because he couldn’t find anyway to put the car into bark.
It’s not going to be EV’s, it’s going to be hybrids. EV’s are just the present day Muscle Cars to create hype and interest in a brand.
Because it allows people to get some of their stuff out of the overhead bins while the door is being opened. And the standers can pass bags to the sitters if feasible. Stuff in hand already, exiting is faster.
It is “shuffling the books”, but it’s a good idea. It’s a handy way to limit CO2 emissions as a society, while simultaneously not destroying the economy.
The funny part is, that’s what the chassis dyno actually measures! lol
I meant me, specifically. Part of the beauty of an automobile is the mechanical bits, along with styling. So, different drivetrain layouts are attractive for different reasons, to me.
Thank you! Road load only matters for fuel economy and emissions, not measuring torque.
