It’s hard for me to compare them given the drivetrain layout differences. I like em both, but for different reasons.

Who the heck uses road load to grab power figures? Road load is used to simulate real world loading scenarios so fuel economy and emissions can be accurately determined, not for an acceleration run for power calculation.
I suppose the only thing you might factor out is rolling resistance because that changes depending…
This is all well and good, but how can we, as consumers, identify a good brake pad from a bad one? Price alone does not dictate this.
More specifically, the lie that winter tires somehow make you incredibly more safe needs to go away. Do they perform better in snow and on ice? Of course, but does that equal safety? Eh, I would say there is not enough info to make that conclusion.
But it is worth the cost? I get around no problem with all seasons on ice at 70mph. I can even drift an on ramp with all seasons. (I am an outlier, for sure since my hobby is racing in low traction environs, and I’m pretty good at it, too). Are snow tires better in snow? Of course, but the whole idea that you are…
No, engineers know they suck, but when John Q. Customer comes to the door and says he wants those neato new fandagled whatchamagadgets.... well... if I don’t give it to him, someone else will....
Watching the Kennedy with all that water makes me want to hit the head. (Too soon?)
Sorry, always going to recline. For some reason, the more prone I am the less air sick I get. (I usually try to get away with a little recline on take off or landing, if the exit row is behind me or no one is sitting there).
I need my waders.. the bullshit is getting pretty deep around here...
I agree independent shops are better, but only because they don’t charge as much. I have yet to have my car serviced by someone who cares as much as I do. Maybe I care too much? But, is it too much to ask for my lug nuts to be torqued properly, or bolts to not be left loose.
I gave up on anyone else servicing my car…
It IS going to be an interesting discussion. If an independent shop replaces a part that fails and causes an accident, the blame, generally, lies with the shop. But, if the shop repairs a wire on an ADAS system, and does a poor job of it and causes your autonomous car to crash and hurt you, who is liable? I guess the…
I think this just gave me IBS.
Full blast! Not sure what the temp is, but I’ve always put my hot water heaters on as high as they go. Less likely to run out of hot water that way.
Don’t stop with basic maintenance. Keep going until you can do all of your own repairs. The money I save from not paying others easily pays for all the special tools and even a hoist to make my life easier. I recently had a transmission fail on my car, (it’s a manual and wouldn’t go into reverse anymore), what…
“These days, 500hp is cheaper and more accessible than EVER.” GRRR.
I tell ya, ever since Emagine Theaters here in Detroit started serving alcohol, movies have never been better!
For vehicle control: find and join an autocross or rallycross race near you. The experience you gain being competitive will help out a lot. You don’t get a TON of seat time, so multiple events are encouraged, but it’s pretty cheap, and fun to boot. Plus it’s pretty easy on your car compared to flat out, wheel to wheel…
If someone truly has that skill, they would have security and high wages.
Job Security or High Wages, you can only pick one without some kind of special skill.
Well, we are all equal unless we are racing. Then I am faster than you. :P
