I really doubt he was trying to ride it through the intersection. Having watched a lot of dirtbike videos on Youtube, it looks like he is inexperienced and accidentally grabs too much throttle, which is easy to to. Notice he is dragging his feet through the intersection. My guess is that he was trying to move it

Your comment had me rolling.

The truest way to share news is cave paintings.

I suppose you could argue that. Over the air updates are not really a new concept, though. It’s just been difficult to justify the additional cost of implementing it. Not to mention, is it REALLY required? Do the job right the first time, and you don’t need OTA the updates because there is no need to update that

Truly innovative? It’s a car, like any other. The only real difference is that they are much more willing to accept risk with the “autopilot” feature.  Even the fact that it’s electric isn’t innovative, again, they are just less averse to risk by playing in a niche market.

When I was an engineer at NGK spark plugs, I would visit Artic Cat and Polaris somewhat frequently.  Flying from Minneapolis to Fargo often got me a plane to myself, or at almost by myself.  It was a smaller twin turboprop, so only 40 seats or so.  Still cool to have a plane to myself.

That’s VIR, just a few turns in . There was a really fast section coming up after this, where I would really not want my wheel to fall off..

More likely than not, there was no easy fix for it within the development time.  They knew they had a problem, but rather than scrap the whole thing until the next model update, they decided to release it, as is, because it works everywhere else.

Anything is a bidet, if you’re brave enough...

What makes me really mad are geese crossing the road. It’s not the geese I get mad at, it’s the people who are too timid to pressure the geese into walking a little faster. You don’t need to get super close, but inch your car up to them slowly, and they will waddle their little asses a little faster, I guarantee it!

I refuse to be called a Millennial. Being born in May 1981 does not mean I use these nauseating terms.

I wonder if people will ever realize that political leaders have very little power when it comes to “creating” jobs. They might be able to change policy in the attempt, but it’s like herding cattle by planting trees. The most direct thing they can do is offer tax breaks for building in certain locations, but that’s

Just to clarify, I was careful to say liquid fuels, not necessarily fossil fuels. I believe a carbon neutral bio fuel will win the technology race over electric technology. With genetic engineering taking off like it is, thanks to tech like CRISPR, I would expect to see genetically modified e-coli bacteria that can

While those are large numbers, per year, per person in the US (using 350million), that’s $3,200 per person. For most of us, that savings will not go directly into our pockets, whoever pays our insurance will see that savings. So, even if those numbers are true, the average Joe isn’t going to see a huge increase in

Hmmm.  I actually hadn’t put that together before, given the thoughts of Ford’s founder...

  • I can hand you a significant amount of energy in the form of liquid fuel in a cup, safely. I can’t hand you a cup of electricity.

How about an oval track like Daytona?

I heard things were a bit manic just before the fire started.
