Well, I mean, yes, if you are not making any money from said customers. That’s how business works. It’s the same thing as McDonald’s Schezwan sauce, or the show firefly, or countless other things in the world that some business decided to stop selling, despite there being some kind of market.

In March 2018, trucks and SUVS sold 2.6 million units. Cars sold 0.5 million units. Profit margins are razor thin on cars, but are pretty good on trucks and SUV’s. So, yes cars are still being sold, but there isn’t any money in cars right now.

Cars are a small and shrinking segment that already had lousy returns on

If people bought them, sure.

The type of workers they want to attract are coming from Silicone Valley. Most of them would be glad to pay a slightly higher income tax for a better than 50% reduction in real estate.

Seeing the train station rehabbed is going to be a remarkable sight. But you have love the big businesses that expect renovation costs to be covered by the public. So nice.

The batteries will store the same amount of energy, yes, but when using lower current, less energy will be put out by the chargers since there will be less losses through all of the conductors. The losses through the conductors is calculated by I^2R. Essentially, it’s more efficient to have higher voltage and/or lower

It’s about lowering the current. I^2R losses are reduced with lower current.

I don’t think you can say that you can’t trust them. A large grain of salt should be used, and you certainly have to read them to understand what’s going on, but I think they can be very useful.

Older cars (pre 2010???) it was hard to use the head rest since they were farther back. My 2014 Fiesta’s headrest is so far forward (thanks to head restraint laws) that even using the headrest, your head is in a fairly normal position.

Hopefully they keep cheating in check so it doesn’t end up like GTA.

They should make the auction for charity. Have the proceeds go to a charity for burn victims.

NOx is minimized by not running lean, but running rich creates CO and excess hydrocarbons in the exhaust. Running stoich minimizes CO and NOx, but creates the most CO2 (The carbon has to go somewhere...). So any engine running stoich is creating the most CO2. If we limit CO2 emissions, we are also effectively limiting

If you are limiting CO2 output, yes. Fuel savings and CO2 savings are hand in hand.

Hybrids are coming. BEV’s are not.

You’ve been working on jalops and your hand isn’t immune to fire yet? lol

He has a bad coolant temp sensor.

Where I can watch them blast on the lug nuts with an impact for 450 ft.lbs of torque?

That’s surprisingly close to the PW requirements at a place I frequent. Due to legacy and modern systems all sharing the same login password, things get a bit constrained.

Great, now everyone knows my lifehacker password. THANKS!
