It really plays nicely with the bourbon!

I live in the Seattle area, where it has been confirmed to have been spreading in the community since mid-January, so i have heard this a lot and even participated in it myself early on since a rather nasty chest cold came through my office in early to mid February. I’d argue that it was possible, given the location

It took all of 4 days at home with our 3 y.o. for me to become a regular afternoon cocktail dad. My go-to is a maple bourbon whiskey sour with lime juice and (as the name implies) maple syrup, or a classic margarita, both on the rocks. The 2 oz liquor, 3/4 oz citrus and syrup is a solid ratio.

I had sinus surgery several years ago and was given a box of surgical masks and shown how to use them as part of a gauze dressing under my nose, so now i have a mostly full but opened box of masks that a) i’m being told i shouldn’t wear in public but b) cannot donate them because they are open box and local healthcare

Jokes on them, you can’t steal a negative refund ;-)

I have not paid money for anything from Elysian since their buyout was announced (I will drink it if given to me for free, I’m not that principled)

We currently have the big 3 plus SlingTV, so my only question is how do i transfer my Hulu subscription into the Disney+ bundle?  I don’t mind the ads, and if it’ll save a few bucks, i’m in.

Well Lactaid isn’t really lactose-free, they just mix in the lactase enzyme so your body can process it.  But even that causes me issues.  Lactaid pills let me get away with pizza, thats about it.

I developed lactose intolerance after a few too many rounds of antibiotics for chronic sinus infections.  I miss me some cow-squeezin’s....

No way, he can breathe through his nose

Yeah, i wake up in the middle of the night worrying about that.  Then he tries to eat bubbles or something and i think maybe college won’t be an issue....,.

We have an almost 3 year old, and my wife and I keep going back and forth on whether or not we want to try for another, and what is largely stopping us right now (and i would suspect a lot of other elder-millenial parents) is just the expense of child care that is an unavoidable part of expanding our family.  Right

One of my favorite bits from Douglas Adams...

It is, of course, a good idea to keep aerosol containers away from open flames, and stored below temperatures of 120℉ (this is clearly stated on all cans of cooking spray), but it’s worth noting that the instructions on such cans are kind of vague. Though consumers are instructed not to keep aerosols “near” heat

I’m interested, but not at that price point. On the other hand, give it a year or two and Casper or someone else will develop a better version (with the smart phone or smart home compatibility) at a more competitive price, and these things will fly off the shelves. Certainly seems better and more efficient to have

WTF?  Are they too scared to come out to the Pacific NorthWest at all?

whisk a dollop of dijon into your eggs, its delightful.

How do these compare to Anker’s newest offering?

I use my Fitbit Blaze for the sleep tracking feature and silent alarm, but it lacks the intelligence of a theater mode (i wear a wrist band over the watch face at night to keep it from disturbing my wife).  Is an upgrade to the newest Apple Watch worth it?
