This is primarily bad.  Most people get over it, and the two populist idiot right wing world leaders that already got and recovered from it, Johnson and Bolsonaro, both saw significant gains in popularity because surviving a disease bolsters strong man shit.  And if he dies instead, Pence gives one good eulogy and all

We’ve live the Trump sht show every single day for the past four years. Nothing was ever going to be ‘informative’ about that debate.

Weaving felt like she was just playing it as a gag rather than a performance, and the gag was kind of superficially “isn’t it funny to see HER act like THIS?!” It was just a goofy face and a Beavis impression. Lundy-Payne on the other hand felt like she was doing a better Ted performance than Keanu was. (no fault to

Different tastes I guess, but I absolutely loved him in Talladega Nights.

Yup. A lot of different story lines but it doesn’t feel like they bit off more than. Almost all of the characters with substantial speaking roles have gone through some sort of growth.

I hope Jason Sudeikis wins an emmy for this; hell, the show itself should win the big one. This is just a great show.

What’s wrong with roundabouts?

I think that the answer is that there may be NO reason to link this to Josh Gad, and that Sam Barsanti had a paragraph most would find mildly interesting, that he instantly stretched into three, complete with clickbait that people will click on for the drama.

But can he enter my bloodstream and make me look like Robert Picardo? That would solve a lot of problems

I’m going to be straight with you here: Yes. This is actually good animation. Technically good. It may not be to your taste but it is definitely a whole other level from the weird domination of Adventure Time/Family Guy degeneration of skills.

Shit like this should be a sideshow to whatever’s going on w/ the main characters. I pulled these from the internet just now:

He’s very, very funny.

I don’t think I read any of his columns until after reading the book (which at the time was one of the funniest things I’d ever read), but I was likewise disappointed with how mediocre the film was.

There really is *only one* other than “Galaxy Quest”, and it ain’t a comedy: Mamet’s “Redbelt”.

I found the series unwatchable, even though I have a sentimental fondness for the movie.

I used to read Dave Barry’s column all the time in the ‘90s. I even read a couple of his forays into the “bunch of South Florida wackos” genre pioneered by the likes of Hiaasen and Leonard, which were enjoyable enough. I was really looking forward to this movie (I mean, that cast) but it was just so aggressively

I feel like it pops up a lot on the AV Club still with people dunkin on it (for no good reason). For a show that aired one season, almost 15 years ago that seems kinda odd. So I’d say it has a fair share of devoted haters for a show that wasn’t great, but wasn’t really bad.

It was/is the pre-eminent ‘hatewatch’ in that its missteps are both infuriating AND fascinating. Genuinely fascinating. Sorkin is capable of great writing, but this was in a period where he was so neurotic that his meter has ‘just’ off, sufficient that all the strings and duct tape propping things up and trying to

There were a lot of people dumping on it at the time, but my read is that it’s largely forgotten about at this point. I’m sort of a general all-purpose Sorkin hater, myself.

She’s simply perfect for this role.
I was recently revisiting her episodes of Comedy Bang Bang. Pure. Bliss.
