Have only the e39 and I agree with Teddy. I’ll trade for any cayman or boxster. I drove a much older boxster once. It wasn’t as quick but it was more engaging than my 540i. This is from a guy who has probably put in 100+ hours of work into his e39 too. so I care dearly for it. It’s just not as good.

I learn something new everyday. Thank you

Your car tastes are more refined than mine. It is nicer than my cars. Quicker, better handling, prettier.

Freeway driving:-(

Amen Orlove. Texting while driving is a scourge.

I love it. But less then.

I am so amazed and in love with this build. Particularly with how happy he is with 4 minutes of run time.

Cops never drive close to the speed limit. It’s science.

My Nissan Leaf. I shame parked it away from every other car. Including this Porsche 918.

They are ppm here in CA. It should be parts per unit distance to free up engineers to try smaller engines but nope

Was that the same dude who designed my e39? I know it was someone Japanese

My last stick I did the same. I miss my manual transmissions.

My dad would do this as a joke to make the light turn green. He would put it in park. Then set the parking brake. Then he would announce “now it will turn green” as he shut the engine off.

Rarely does a comment make me laugh aloud.

LS1 perhaps? Somehow otherworldly power from an i6 is more impressive though.

U so smart. I just thought: LOL.

The frustration was visible in spite of the closed faced helmet.

My Leaf is having its battery swapped at this moment. After 36k miles. I get it back on Monday. I’m looking forward to greater than 56 miles of range.

Test drive with the annoying floor staff. Then do an ascending search by price on a car sales website. Then head to individual dealer sites and email there internet sales dept for any dealerships you are willing to drive to asking if they can beat that price.

I look at OTD too. I usually save up for a new car and buy cash. Private party sell my old car. It makes for one variable. The car I want is the constant. The price a dealer offers is the one variable. Fleet sales managers love this. Floor salesmen, not so much.
