Or pop the plastic cover off of the rear emergency door release, reach down awkwardly and grip it for dear life.

The supercharger network is probably the best thing about Tesla and Elon did his best to ruin it. Seems to me like that could have been a more profitable avenue than selling cars with everybody adopting NACS.

If it moved off the road safely that would be ideal.

When my cell phone fell out of my pocket on a roller coaster, we had to wait for some time after closing for them to walk the tracks. My wife played games in the Tesla with the kids. But not Steam games, as the Model 3 doesn’t do that.

I own 2 teslas. During the Full Self Driving free trial, I couldn’t wait for it to end and return to regular Auto Pilot (which is just lane keeping traffic aware cruise control). This was because FSD repeatedly did dangerous things in the few times we tried it. I’ve tried multiple versions over a couple of years and

The length of the stop is where the experience of having owned an EV or not is different. I owned an EV and took for granted the difference between a quick stop and nearly no stops but longer ones on the occasions of longer trips. I quickly regretted the move to gasoline. Even though I miss my manual transmissions and

Yeah, towing is a whole different story. One which I haven’t lived. Still 1500 miles of suffering vs suffering the remainder of the year. Home charging is so much better than going to the gas station. Fast charging is a bit worse. So I (an a non-towing individual) find the total suffering to be less with regards to

You mean you don’t just stare at your car the whole time it’s plugged in at night?

I daily a 691hp car I picked up for sub 20 grand. My whole perspective on power per dollar is warped.

That Hybrid 4 puts out some good HP and torque figures though.  I’ve certainly owned far less powerful V8's.

Obsessed with the Supra, 300ZX, RX7, NSX, GTR? How about a twin turbo all wheel drive, four wheel steering, car that beat all of those (for the first lap) in 90's Japan. It had a stock limited slip differential in the back (and an open one up front). I always wanted a 3000GT VR4 as my mom owned a naturally aspirated

And the required paint protection and lo-jack

We have regular emissions tests that check what’s under the hood. Both cars in my user picture I had to get rid of due to smog testing.

Your comment breaks my heart.

I’m partial to the one the one that goes:

Yes. Goodness this was low in the list. Only one I know of that involves working the assembly line and sticking it to the man.

Having no idea when I began watching Gymkhana. As something that seems like it has always been, it is excellent hearing about its beginning.

I just did the math on one in California. With 32 cents per kWh electricity I found the operating tcost o be far more than natural gas.  I'm all for it in theory as the air quality where I live is wretched. In practice, we need much cheaper electricity to make it remotely affordable.

As an owner of a Stealth Turbo, I agree with everything you said. I would prefer a VR4 slightly...but not this one.

My wife got 2nd at National History Day and her sister got 1st at Nationals. The number of celebrities they have interviewed is ridiculous. My wife will be watching TV and will say, I interviewed him. The ones I remember are Walter Cronkite, Ken Burns, and Buck Owens. Buck lent her his original telecaster too. Her
