I’ve driven an original, stock F40 back in the day (mid 90s) and found it to be surprisingly easy to drive. Easy is of course a relative term, but it was certainly more forgiving than I expected given the reputation.

Welp, good luck to this dipshit in his search for a replacement motorcycle built by a company that passes his retarded litmus test. Not much of a loss probably, as he seems a more committed YouTuber than motorcyclist. God help him if if he ever bothers to check YouTube’s corporate values though; these wacko…
‘Nice try buttercup”...says the guy who tries to impress by driving with his pinkie finger. Douche.
That event sounds stupid indeed. But I need to take exception with the last sentence of the 2nd paragraph... I’d argue that someone with the financial means to afford a multi-million dollar house and equally valuable car collection is quite concerned about money.
Too much power, not enough respect. It’s that simple. The only unusual thing I see here is that it was not leaving a cars & coffee event.
Good on ya. All solid advice, especially that of earplugs. I wear them absolutely anytime I have the helmet on, even if I’m just going around my neighborhood. But...175 miles round trip? That’s what I’d do on a quick out and back run to the local mountains for a rip through the canyons if I have a few hours free, with…
Max is certainly fast, and a world champion. But boy is he ever a thankless douche.
“Halfway through the list was a horizontally arranged bar of recently played albums, like five or six of them. If Mazda just let me touch the dang panel, I would’ve been able to flick past that break, found what I was looking for and tapped it in two seconds. But the dial meant I had to scroll through those albums…
As someone who lived in one of the high rise buildings right along the course for many years, and who never saw a race run on the original F1 layout, this makes me very happy indeed for several reasons.
Agreed. I love checking out listings on BaT, have seen some truly remarkable cars/bikes listed there, have bid on a number, have learned a lot of useful information from the community, and have met and had rewarding conversations with a few sellers. That said, when it came time to sell my 993 a few years ago, I didn’t…
Agreed the 690 motor is great. I have an SMCR-690 myself, and of course the same motor is in the Svartpillen/Vitpillen 701, the 701SM, and the 701 Enduro as well.
Yup. Having had very good results with the first Shorai I installed in one of my bikes years ago, I’ve installed lithuim batteries in every other bike I’ve had since when the existing lead acid batteries need replacing. I’ve not had a problem or let down with any of them.
Now? Dude, KTM has owned Husqvarna for nearly 10 years...
No. They’ve never pushed the rear suspension down by themselves on MotoGP ride height devices. Sounds like you are thinking of MX holeshot devices, where the riders do manually compress the forks to lock them into a lower position.
This. And not fully explaining it either (i.e. the rear ride height device works on corner exits as well - not just for launching, Ducati was the first but now other manufacturers are running a similar system, and on and on). I like the ‘nik, but it’s not the place to look for any informed two wheeled news.
Welcome to the future. Isn’t it great!?!
I personally enjoyed The Closer (and Chapelle’s other specials as well), and found it honest, heartfelt, funny, and yes, provocative. That’s quite a hard balance to strike. At the same time, I can emphasize with the criticism, and I also agree that the topics he focuses on are well trodden territory at this point and…
“either 6D, or a full-face helmet with MIPS implemented into it.”
I disagree, this is a great year to get into MotoGP. The competitiveness of the field has never been closer (look at the lap times covering the whole grid, with the top 18 or so riders often within 1 second), and there are variety of manufacturers and teams with a legitimate shot at the podium. Marc is surely a…
Pretty sure Bubba’s motivation to interject might have something to do with the fact he was fired by his sponsor about a week prior for his own behavior in another live NASCAR iRacing event...
