I love both Fonda and Tomlin, but I’m afraid I have to agree with you about Grace & Frankie. I don’t think it’s the acting, however; I just think the writing is lame. Also, simply cannot buy Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston as a gay couple.

Right on. I read Prime Time, her book from 2011, which offers what was to my mind a really intelligent and penetrating new way of looking at the aging process. Highly recommended.
