Did I say it was all about her beauty? But let’s face it: she’s an actress, a former ingenue– and some degree of emphasis on beauty comes with that particular career path, don’t you think?

Jane Fonda epitomizes a fearless approach to aging in the new millennium; despite the difficulties of divorce and some serious health problems (I think she’s had 2 hip replacements?) she’s remained psychologically focused, up-to-date, socially informed, politically active, a master of her career, and is unintimidated…
Winona Ryder And Keanu Reeves Will Be ‘Miserable Wedding Guests’ In Destination Wedding
Um, we in the cosmetics industry would prefer that you interpreted this as smearing love on your faces now.
Like hairdos, makeup and fashions, I think the quality of cosmetic surgery reflects the aesthetic taste of the person who gets it as well. Susan Sarandon or Helen Mirren have seen their faces blown up the size of a football field on cinema screens for decades. They’ve seen themselves from every imaginable angle.…
probably mainly for the endless shit she’s taken for it.
No doubt there are many problems with the concept; but I still think there is value to be found in the conversation, particularly in view of the fact that many white musicians have historically capitalized on black music, while the musicians who originated the ideas languished in obscurity.
I love this approach to fashion, which brings to mind Celine Dion’s recent Paris Fashion Week media extravaganza. Van Doran brings a sense of humor to her look, which is often missing but to my mind is the critical element: the element of fun. Also, she’s using a brilliant palette.
I love your terse interpretation. I’m white and I’m trying to wrap my mind around the concept of cultural appropriation– if I’m not getting it, trust I am completely open to criticism.

I’d even go so far as to say that most feminists got their first taste of the political via trendy “girl power” memes.
I’m not stanning for TS so much as viscerally against scapegoating, which I consider one of the lowest forms of human behavior.
Thank you. When a gif becomes the measure of my individuality, please shoot me.
Do I? It’s my opinion– based on what I’ve read. I’m not running for public office. As such I see no need to submit a doctoral thesis to back up my opinions. You can take it or leave it, I don’t care.
Any person in the spotlight is subject to spectacular vitriol these days, because people are looking for scapegoats. Me, I think Nicki is breathtaking.
As “over the top” as the year-long, virulent media pile-on she’s been subjected to? Which resulted in her going into hiding? Uh, last I checked this is somebody who sings pop songs about romance– and she’s been cast as public enemy #1? For what? A disagreement about being called a “bitch” on another artist’s pop song?…
