Argument or not, why the fuck would you get out of the car in a tiger park?? So stupid. And now her mother is dead, looks like she ran out to try to help her daughter. A tragedy that could have easily been avoided by staying in the fucking car in the middle of a tiger park.

Basically anyone using their phone at the movies is disrupting. Ditto for a play/dance recital... if its a dark room, the point is that I’m immersed in the lit show at the front of the room, not distracted by some glowing phone because they can’t wait to check a notification.

Just because lots of people have their phones out at a concert does not mean its okay or it should be that way. I personally find it infuriating when some asshole is in front of me trying to record the whole show because I’m short and they’re making harder for me to see and its distracting. I think the dog went to live semi-permanently at the trainer’s house awhile back. This incident happened in 2014 and I think the dog was re-homed around that time. Hopefully, he’s in the hands of the caring trainer and living a nice doggy life.

I saw Louis CK Friday night and on the back of every other seat or so was a sign explicitly forbidding texting, photography, phone calls, whatever can be done with a phone. As far as I could tell, everyone complied. It was beautiful to just sit and watch a show and not be distracted by bad manners.

I paid for my own admittance, so that entitles me to an opinion about the rudeness of immature people who can’t get off their phone. People on their phones are being rude and distracting to other attendees. If it is a live show they are also being blatantly disrespectful to the performers. If something is so important…

People who go to concerts, plays, or movies and spend the time on their phone are annoying. If you can’t put your phone down, then stay home.
